(So that isn't exactly the way you greet people in a fantasy world, but, oh well. :D)

Greetings folks! I am Lady Idril Aravis when I am not Anne of Green Gables' Cordelia. My real, real name, however is Alyssa and I am from the Philippines.

Jay (Sir Emeth) has always been inviting me since the forums began, but back then I was in college and could not commit to being as active as I wanted to be. Now, I'm working, and still busy, but I kind of want to do this as a surprise for Jay when he gets back to this realm. :D And I want to pray along with the rest of you guys. :)

I don't know everyone here--some I follow on Twitter, some I follow on their blogs--but I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you. (Special shout-out to Katie--I don't know your screen name here, I'm sorry--for giving me that final push to participate in these forums.)

So there. I'm sorry if that sounded a lot like rambling. :P

Blessings, everyone! ;)

Katie's profile is here. She's usually Vanya Katerina Jaynin, but recently underwent a ... bit of a name change. ;)

Welcome, Alyssa! (And "Hullo there!" is a perfectly acceptable title. :D )

*shakes hand* Thanks! I've loved the Anne of Green Gables ever since I was a kid. I grew up reading that...and Laura Ingalls...before I started reading fantasy books. :)

I wish I could thank you all personally, but I'm afraid of spamming the forum. So I want to give you all a huge THANK YOU! for your encouragement and the way you've welcomed me here. :)

I've done NaNo since I discovered it, but just as I'm about to hit 50k, something would pull me away from it--classes, work, various responsibilities, etc. *weeps heartrendingly* Maybe this year. :D

Awww, thank you, dear! I have a mind to take up those I'd written before and do some edits. Maybe make a blog...? I don't know yet, but when I have the time, I shall certainly delve into it. :D

There are more than four of us crazy writers, you guys. Come on.
Welcome, Alyssa! Nice to meet you. Friends of Jay's are friend of ours. I do hope you're getting enough dessert and glitter (they go hand in hand).

Thanks! I'm quite full with the dessert, thanks so much, and I have so much glitter, I could build a house with it. :D

*is slightly awed by the thought*
Very marvelous. It would shine in the sun and probably glow in the dark.

Hmmm, I didn't think about that! You're right--it would probably glow in the dark. I'm imagining what it would look like if the moon were to shine down on it. :D

The Rainbow in the Storm- My Blog

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Mark, 115,600 words (Preparing for Publication)
The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)

Oh, yes. A glitter house would certainly be fantastic! *Gives you more purple glitter to make it with*
