Really? I pity you. Just kidding. But seriously, being the oldest rocks, at least in my small family. Brothers or sisters?

Two brothers, and one sister, but the oldest (brother) moved out this spring.

I have to ask. Do you like having sisters? What's it like to have an older brother? I had an older brother, but he miscarried about halfway through my mom's pregnancy.

I greatly enjoy having sisters. I say it plural as I consider many girls of my acquaintance to be my sisters. :)
It can be fun to have an older brother, and it can also fun to have younger sibs. I've always wished I had some...
Anyway, I love all of my older siblings. :D

I have a little brother--it's not always fun to have a little sibling. Now I have to ask another (somewhat nosy) question: are you the typical youngest child? Not in a negative way, just curious.

I'm not sure... what do you consider the typical youngest child?

Me too!!!! And I almost did... :(. Typical youngest child - slightly spoiled, get away with a lot, everyone loves them and thinks their perfect, their older siblings take care of them...okay that is pretty negative. Do you have any of those characteristics? As the oldest kid, it always seems like that to me. :)

Awwww! Liagiba!

Younger siblings are sweet, and adorable! I'm the oldest in my family, and even though it seems like it, life isn't just a bed of roses for them either!

Sure, I watch out for them, and make sure they do what they need to, but they can't watch certain movies, they have to go to bed earlier, they tend to get in trouble more, because they're younger, and less disciplined...It's not the siblings! It's just hard getting along with people.:)

Azriel- And who do you think you are, running round leaving scars, collecting your jar of hearts, and tearing love apart? You're gonna catch a cold from the ice inside your soul, so don't come back to me. Don't come back at all...

I'm only speaking from my experiences. Two of my best friends have little sisters who are great, but my friends with little brothers feel like I do. I realize life isn't a bed of roses...for anyone. But in my family, the youngest child always gets it easiest. Even when they are the worst-behaving child. My brother watches the same movies, goes to bed at the same time, and gets privileges I don't. Honestly, if he gets in trouble, my parents will let it slide much quicker than if I do. My one friend and I agree about this; the youngest child gets off the easiest.

Youngest children seem to be spoiled and able to get away with anything. And they pick on their older siblings, yet can't stand being picked on. But they're also adorable and funny ^^

Although I'm the oldest, and I'm still a bit spoiled, so I have no room to talk :P

*sigh* I have a younger brother, with Down's Syndrome, so he's even more difficult than most kids. But...children are still a blessing. And God gives us siblings to refine us. I've found that often times the problem I have with my siblings, is really a flaw in my character. :)

Umm.. hard question.
Most of the time, its like having this person you fight with all the time (not as much, now that I'm 'mature' =P), but you know that if you ever get in a bad spot they'll be there for you. In a nutshell. :D

Sweet. I wish I had an older bro. I'm one of those people who can pick a fight with anyone...and win...and no one ever picks a fight with me. Except for my dearest little brother. I can't see he's "there" for me, but vice versa. Do you have your own room? Boy, this is really getting personal. :)

That sounds okay, then. Wow. This topic is really off-topic. Oh well.

So...new topic...how many cousins do you have?
I have...ONE.

I have.... a lot of cousins.... I'm actually not sure how many. Of course, if you just mean 1st cousins, then around a dozen, I think. I don't know them all.

That's cool. Okay, I need a new topic. What area do you live in? Rural, suburban, down-town, country, etc. I'm a country girl, all the way. What about the rest of you all?

*shudders* I'm not into towns. Good to know there's another country person on here. Are you a redneck? (I am! And proud of it!) Do you live on a farm?

Well, I'm a country girl that doesn't live in the country. :)

My family is probably as close to country people as it gets around here... we are always going barefoot, we like climbing trees (yes, me too), etc... but we would much rather actually live in the country. :)

The country's amazing.

Okay, Mr. Knight, I need to set something straight, here. A redneck is a hill-billy who doesn't feel bad walking around with cut-off shorts and boots to his knees. :P If you were being sarcastic, . Just kidding.

I love living on a farm. It's the next best thing to a ranch in Montana...which is my dream. A sheep ranch. :)

Hmmmm...I don't think I'd like to call myself a red-neck. That implies that I'm stupid, use bad grammar, and am missing teeth! LOL! At least in my mind.;) Bare-foot, and free are good adjectives though.

Okay, that's offensive. Just kidding. My definition of a redneck: wear big belt buckles, don't mind looking stupid, are fascinated by the simplicities of life, and know how to be "real".

Sorry.:( I'm not trying to be offensive, I'm just saying that's the connotation that "red-neck" brings to my mind.:D But your definition sounds like just being an awesome person.:)

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. ~ 2 Corinthians 12:9

Nessa- She's given up the veil, the vows she'd sworn, abandoned every effort to conform. Without a word to anyone she's gone her way alone, a dove escaping back into the storm.

Nolan- And though I don't understand why this happened, I know that I will when I look back someday, and see how you've brought beauty from ashes, and made me as gold purified through the flames.

Azriel- And who do you think you are, running round leaving scars, collecting your jar of hearts, and tearing love apart? You're gonna catch a cold from the ice inside your soul, so don't come back to me. Don't come back at all...
