... and Shawn means me. Okay, not really. Here is the background on my book: I have always loved reading and writing (I got the title of this post from LOTR). I read Start Here by Alex and Brett Harris this year, and an example of a girl who was fighting modern day slavery stuck out to me. I never knew that slavery still existed today, but last year there were more slaves than in any other time in history. So, I am now what you could call an abolitionist, and I am writing my fantasy book to help spread awareness of modern day slavery (among other things). If you know any good sites that have reliable info about modern day slavery, please PM me.
