I know it might be a bit early for this, since it's only the 18th of December, but I thought I'd start it anyways. :D

I have a few resolutions. One of them is get my lifetime word count from around 500,000 to 1,000,000. Which will require a lot of writing. But I'm going to try. ;)

Others include starting Skype guitar lessons, and practicing an hour and a half a day, and to post in both of my blogs once a week each, and spending four hours a day minimum on something related to my Adobe Creative Suite programs.

What are yours? :D

I have a few resolutions. :D If I post them here maybe I cam actually keep up with them. :P

Finish True Freedom (NaNo novel) By my birthday, June 24. I'll probably shorten that once I have a more specific length.

Read my bible everyday.

Up my lifetime word count from about 60k-ish to 250k.

(Inspired by Zed's blog resolution) Post on my blog once a week.

Do at least club 300 in Bible Quizzing and try Full Material.

Test on my Tango, Swing, and hopefully Willow Waltz skating dances, and pass my Preliminary Skills skating test.

There you have it. I think that should keep me busy. o.O :D

Note: I don't expect anyone to understand the last one, but it basically means skate, skate, skate.

Edited and Updated Version:

Finish True Freedom (NaNo novel) By my birthday, June 24. I'll probably shorten that once I have a more specific length.

Up my lifetime word count from about 60k-ish to 250k.

Write something everyday. Even if it is just 10 words.

(Inspired by Zed's blog resolution) Post on my blog once a week.

Do five pushups a day, and be able to do the splits by my birthday. (Almost there!)

Do at least club 300 in Bible Quizzing and try Full Material.

Test on my Tango, Swing, and hopefully Willow Waltz skating dances, and pass my Preliminary Skills skating test. And be able to do a decent backspin and camel spin by the end of the skating season.

Do Screnzy, Nano, and maybe Camp Nano.

I want to:
Write the novel I've been planning, Stars. Word count goal of 35,000 words.
Win NaNo 2012. No idea of the novel yet.
Sign up on the main Screnzy.
Sign up on the main NaNo.
Get a blog. (If my mom lets me...)
Continue dogwalking.
Win Screnzy 2012 with AzlynMae.
Possibly Camp NaNo.
Read the Bible through a couple times.

Mine are usually pretty general. I want to be a more selfless friend, a better sister, a more submissive daughter, to spend more time with God, and be more disciplined about writing, music, and filmmaking. I might solidify some more things later. :)

This one doesn't count, but I intend to finish HRatAC by Jan 1.

2012:
-Do a minimum of 30 push-ups a day
-write 500 words a day, not counting comments, chats, or school stuff
-Possibly reach 30k on DWoDEGG by December 31st

That's one of the reasons I started this thread. I think I've mentioned before that I do much better when someone is holding me accountable. :P I thought others might be the same way, too.

Mine is a grand total of 0. :P I can't even accomplish one. It's pathetic, really. ;)

That should be another resolution of mine. Exercise more. Even if it's just taking a good solid walk every now and then. I don't do that enough.

Also, I'd also like to add that my 1,000,000 word goal does not include forum or chat posts. Blog posts do not count either. I might count poems. That word goal relates strictly to Fiction writing. :D

Practice makes it easier.

Exercise is a good resolution.

Push ups might be a good resolution for me. I can do... Maybe three. I lack in arm strength, but other then that my skating is really good exercise. That having been said, I'll try five push ups a day.

Hmm let's see. I'll post what I can think of, and maybe post more later.

Read my bible more, pray more.
Be more consistent in my writing.
Send the first three chapters of my novel off to a Publishers
Lose Weight would be good here too, Nessie. :) I lost a stone recently, but after Christmas I'm sure I'll have put some of that back on. :P

Some great resolutions, here! :D

Most of the points on this list are the same every year. :D

To grow closer in my walk with the Lord and to become more like Jesus.
To continually have His Truths realized and/or discovered.
To become a better witness of Christ to family, friends, and strangers alike.
To spend more time in the Bible and prayer.
To learn all the ropes of business paperwork to become a better secretary.
To become more athletic. (as opposed to saying, "exercise more" ;))
To read more books.
To write (at least) one novel.
To finish the 100 theme challenge of 1K short stories.
To publish a poetry book. :x o.O
To learn this on the piano.
To make someone smile or laugh every day. :D
To become a better listener.

To everyone here, I hope you all have a very blessed Christmas and New Year!

May your pen never run dry, there always be paper (or electricity if you're writing on the computer) and Auto Recovery do its job!

One of my New Year's resolutions is to keep up more with postings - and I'll try my very best to keep it! (It MUST be easier than not eating so many jelly beans while I work...)

I have resolved to take every moment captive, improving it so that I can maximize effectiveness and never waste a moment of precious time.

I have resolved to live with all my might.

I have resolved to live every moment as if it could be my last. Sadly, this does not mean I can avoid cleaning house just because that is not what I would be doing if it were my last moments. ;)

I have resolved to strive to my utmost.

I have resolved to not speak evil of any.

Oh, it is very intriguing, very original, and hopefully, brilliant.

My three resolutions are these:

I resolve to read the Bible and pray more.

I resolve to do more physical exercise, instead of exercising my brain like I more often perfer to do!

I resolve to stop procrastinating!

Aww, drat.

My thoughts exactly.

Here are my resolutions this year:

To have at least 5 minutes of undistracted prayer every day
To finish my novel, which means I'll have to work on it every day
To go to swim practice at least 3 times a week, even when I'm busy
To practice the piano an hour in the morning, and 30 minutes after lunch
To post more on HW... I've been very sporadic with my posting lately.

Anyway, I think that's it. I'll come back later if I think of more. :D

I have been working toward a poetry book for quite some time! That would be so exciting for me to accomplish sometime.

My resolutions:

To spend four hours a day on music related projects. (2 hours piano practice, 1 hour violin practice, 1 hour composing/arranging/learning another instrument). That will add up to 1,000 hours of building my musical skills by the end of the year. :D

To be a better daughter, sister, and friend.

To read more books and to read said books more analytically.

To become a better rider, rather than bouncing around like a giant ragdoll and then wondering why my horse gets cranky when I ask her to canter.

To follow the Lord more closely. To hide His Word in my heart that I might not sin against Him. To know what I believe and why.

I like that one. I should do the same. :D
