Yes, I'm brand new. I don't even know how a forum works. (Am I doing this the correct way?) Please bear with me, everyone!
I haven't published any fantasy yet (have an idea in the words), so I may be the weird member, but I'm thrilled to be here anyway. This site looks marvelous, Christ-centered, God-glorfying. Bravo! I can't wait to spend way too much time reading everything...

Welcome to Holy Worlds, Miss Perry! :D

This was my first forum, so I also had no idea how a forum worked when I joined. But you'll learn soon enough. :D If you have any questions, just ask.

Welcome to the forums! :)

I have never published any fantasy either, but I have enjoyed learning to write it! Have you ever written fantasy, or are you hoping to start?

Welcome, welcome, Perry Elisabeth! I had many a question about the forum when I joined too, but trust me, you'll get used to it! And I'm not a published author either. Just one who is working towards the goal.

And in the mean time, have some brownies while you get used to the forum! *Hands Perry a plate of soft, chewy, sparkly brownies*

Thank you so much, everyone, for the kind welcome!
@ Jonathan Garner - thank you! Good to know I can ask all my questions! :)

@ Lady Elanor - I have written fantasy, but it was years ago. I have focused more on realistic normalcy in my two published books. I do have a fantasy/allegory up my sleeve. I both can't wait to get started on it, and also don't want to get started on it for fear I'll not write it the way it deserves. Silly, perhaps?

@ AzlynMae - Wow! Thank you! Good brownies! (Is it customary to hand out snacks? If so, I've brought some killer peanut-butter chocolate chip cookies. Here, everyone have some...)

Glitter and goodies are very common in intro threads. :D *Noms a cookie*

Welcome! Can I call you Perry? :D I hope you enjoy your time here at HolyWorlds! Don't be put off by all the craziness, one gets used to it eventually. :D

What are some of your other interests besides writing? :D

*showers Perry with chocolate chip cookies*

(I can't believe I'm the first one on the thread to offer dessert )

Thank you! Don't worry... I love a group of other "crazy" writers! ;) Actually, I have been offered brownies, and I brought a plate of cookies, so, it's been a pretty sugary morning! ;)
Interests? Um...
reading, sewing, pattern-designingknitting, piano, violin, Irish pennywhistle, guitar, song-writing, blogging, graphic-designing, publishing, codes, family, courtship, writing, writing... did I get everything? Probably not. ;)

Hello, Miss Perry. I'm Campgirl. Nice to meet you and welcome to the Fantasy Forum. :)

What I can't understand is why no one has been given hot chocolate yet...cause you know, hot Chocolate is what comes with cookies :D *quickly mixes up three or four and starts handing them out*
Would anyone like a candy cane in theirs?
*takes a chocolate chip cookie*
Mmmmm, these are good! :D

Not silly at all; sometimes you find once you get started it flows easier. :) I hope it goes well for you!

I already met you in chat, but I might as well make it official - Welcome to Holy Worlds Fantasy, Miss Perry! I like the Irish penny whistle too; my sister (Melody Kondrael) just gave me one for St.Nicholas. :D

Everyone else is giving you food, so how about a few glitter fireworks? *pulls fireworks out of the closet and launches them* :D

Welcome here! I haven't published either.
Oh, good. Amanda glitterified your thread.
*adds some nice edible glitter to the hot chocolate*
There. Pretty.

Everyone is so kind and welcoming!
Thanks for the welcome Emmalina!

Thank you, Lady Aris Lillylight, for the fuzzy kitten. I adore those, and I prefer writing with one curled up on my lap! ;)

@Aldara - thanks for the edible glitter-- really fancies things up! ;) I have actually published two books, but they are not fantasy.

@Amanda - thanks for the fireworks, they're quite festive. A bit noisy, but festive! It's a good thing Lady Aris gave me the kitten AFTER the fireworks, or else I might have been scratched. ;) Enjoy the pennywhistle; it's a hauntingly beautiful instrument!

@Crushmaster - thanks for the welcome! Have you had one of my killer peanut butter chocolate chip cookies yet?

@Jonathan Garner - good for you! :)

@Lady Elanor - thanks! I've actually written a beginning. I already have things I want to change, though!

@Campgirl - thanks for the hot cocoa! Any coffee to mix with it?? ;)

Thanks BushMaid! *shaking your hand and passing a cookie to you at the same time* (Seems to be customary.) I've seen some of your lovely photo manips about, and we have several blog friends in common (David R., Gabe H. I think, and Aubrey are the ones I can think of off the top of my head).

Would you like some coffee to go with it? :D I can whips some up in a jiffy. *pulls some coffee beans from the cupboard and puts them in a grinder* It might take a few minutes though before they're all-- uh, oh! Look out! *stepps back as the coffee beans start shooting out of the grinder*
*shrugs* Huh, so I guess I put too much in.
*grins sheepishly* Make that two jiffies, Miss Perry.
Oh, and would you like pepperment flavor or sugar cookie flavor?

Aw, that sounds lovely. Too bad our housecat takes up too much lap-space for much writing. ;) Glad to have you here! :D

Hello!!

Welcome to HW! I'm fairly new too... well, six months new, maybe, but one slips in pretty quick. ;) The people here are awesome.

Don't worry about having trouble navigating your way around. :) I've only been introduced to forums since January this year, and it becomes second nature pretty quickly. All forums are different (in my experience) in setup and the way they work, so even if you had been on 'em before you'd still need to get used to the whole place. :)

Hey, I love piano too. :D

*grumbles* I'm the one that cajoled her into joining and I'm the last to welcome her. Just charming, that... *needs to keep up with this forum better - somehow*

Anyway, you got the full welcoming treatment, so we're good. :D I'm a bit jealous - no one gave me any fuzzy little animals when I joined! :beg: Have a cupcake or several!

On a more serious note, I'm really happy you joined, Perry! :D I hope this forum brings you lots of encouragement and new friends!

Oh no! *Steals one of Aris's fuzzy kittens and hands it to Philie. Then proceeds to dump glitter on Philie's head and give her a whole plate of brownies just for her* I love having you on HW, Philie! :D
