Well, most of you probably don't know, but I'm 37 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I don't know whether it will be a boy or a girl, but it won't be much longer until we know!
Anyhow, I am in need of some assistance.
I need boy names! I have plenty of girl names that I like, but of my list of boy names, I am not at all satisfied that I have just the right one. So...... I came up with the idea that I should ask all of you for ideas.
I can't guaranty that I will use any that you list (partly because it may end up being a girl!), but I would sure appreciate your suggestions!

List any and all boy names that come to mind, whether they be from stories, movies, relatives, or just ones you like.
The only disqualifying factor is names that begin with T. Both my husband and I have names that begin with T, so we decided that we'd rather our children didn't.

Well, I've always loved traditional and biblical boy names -- Peter, Stephen, Jonathan, David, John, Luke. Also traditional names like William, Robert, George, Arthur, and Edward.

Some more unusual names that sound nice are Gordon, Gerard, Harrison, Gilbert, Miles, Winfield, Ioan, Ewan, Gabriel, Geoffrey, and Archibald.

I personally am a fan of meaning in a name but I know several people who choose things that sound good and just make up new names from scratch. This can be a really cool way to go about it too. Congratulations and do let us know the results.

Luke! Luke! Luke! Luke! Means 'light' and it's not too common and besides it's a super awesome name.

Or Jayce. Jayce is cool. I have a character named Jayce...and one guy calls me Jace...

There are too many Matthews and Stephens around. Me and my 17 year old brother are two of 'em. There are FIVE Steves at the place I work.

Oh, and congratulations! I'm the same age my father was when he got married...that's weird to think. I really want kids of me own...

However, turns out I didn't need boy names after all.

I had a little girl. Her name is Kalee.
She was born November 5th. I was in labor for 24 hours before it was decided I needed a c-section. Good thing we did it or we might not have Kalee.
But all turned out well (other than a VERY expensive, unplanned, uncovered by insurance, hospital bill!).

Thank you! I feel I need all the help I can get! It's kinda funny. When I was a teen I thought I had so much figured out. Then when I got married I realized I didn't know half as much as I thought I did. And now that I have a baby, I wonder if I know anything at all. Mmmm. I wonder what Grandparents feel like.
