The kitten paused from cleaning his fur in the dappled sun beneath the tree, and bounced over to the sound of the party. Lifting his head and carefully sniffing around, he crossed the room with a slow and instinctive superior cat walk ... paused briefly to look around ... and began to eat the icing off a cupcake. |

<contemplates stealing atpollard's kitty...  >A brown-haired girl, clutching a tablet to her chest, glances around the room with a gaze that is both shy and observant. After a few minutes, she moves over to the table and samples the cake, eyes sparkling at the unexpected sweetness. Two scientists, one a copy of the other plus twenty years, converse in the corner, although only one eats cake. A vibrant young woman with blond curls that bounce as much as her attitude attempts to coerce her mustached brother into trying the dessert. He appears stern, but perhaps only so he can enjoy the show of her insistence. |
