Hi, everyone! I am not new to Holy Worlds, in fact, I was around for quite some time back in the day. I never departed from writing, even though I let many of my memberships go silent. This year I am attempting NaNoWriMo again, and felt that this would be a great place to get back into the swing of things. Thanks for the welcome (and the cupcakes!!!), Lt. General Hansen! I am super excited about this year's Nano project. It's the tale of a cursed princess who has to fulfill a prophecy in order to save her people and give them the ability to feel human touch again. That's right! The people can't feel physical touch, except (it's rumored) for the touch of their true love. It's definitely got a lot of romance to it, but it's not meant to be a romance novel. It's more or less centered around the quest to destroy this curse put upon them. What about you? What's your Nano project about? |

Welcome! And that sounds like an excellent plot! Very interesting idea! It slightly reminds me of a book I read recently where people had turned zombie-like because they couldn't feel emotions - but they could see and fed off of the emotions of others. |

Ooh, I would definitely pick up a book with a synopsis like that.  I am probably NaNo-rebelling, since the book I'm currently working on is a mix of new material and editing old drafts. But I'm hoping to follow along with my pals so that I can get several chapters done. (Most of the chapters are 2-5k each.) |
