Hey.

Used to be Lord_Herobrine a good 5+(?) years back. It's been so long I can't remember when I was last here.

Welcome back.

1. Why not just use your old account?

2. So what have you been up to over the last 5 years?
Still writing?
Still Christian? ;)

3. Nice avatar image. Gotta love a walrus in a top hat.

1) Forgot the gmail and the username/password to that account. I'm actually 60% sure I asked for it to be deleted, tbh.

2.) College. I did graduate so there's that.

2.a) Eh.... kinda? Anime fanfiction is something.

2.b) That's.... a really odd question. I mean I am, but what if I wasn't? Idk how to take that automatic question from someone online.

3) This is my go to avatar image.

You should probably react by being offended ... that’s how most people react to my sense of humor. [LOL]

You left a site for Christian Writers (so that implies that you were a Christian Writer when you were here).

You were gone for 5 years, so you either remained a Christian or walked away from your faith ... nothing personal, but those are the only two choices.

You returned to a site for Christian Writers (so that implies that you are still interested in being a Christian Writer and implies that you are a Christian)

So asking you if you were still a Christian was intended as dry humor.
You were and still want to be a Christian Writer, so I first ask if you are still a Writer and then ask if you are still a Christian. The answer to both was obviously yes since you are here.

Well, I’ve done enough damage for one day. Soon someone will come along to offer you cupcakes and a more normal welcome.

Well when you put it that way, that's not an unfair question.

Putting aside what leaving the faith implies, yes I am a Christian. I would actually say that I'm more of a Christian now than when I left. I was recently baptized and am considering seminary, so there's that.

My main world I am intending to work on deals with a world that was not created, but was more colonized by gods/spirits/etc of other dimensions that then moved on, so there's that religious/supernatural stuff there.

As a Christian writer? Eh. Not so blatantly, no. I have a fantasy I want to write and hopefully, God willing, it will be written.

<rolls eyes fondly as she dishes out cupcakes> Hi. I see you've been properly welcomed to the family already. ;)

It's great to have you back! CONGRATS ON GRADUATING! What degree did you get? What seminaries have you looked into? I'm in seminary currently and also working on my AA in Liberal Arts/History, so I'm all over the college life.

I got a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Interpersonal and Public Communication from a Christian Liberal Arts University.

So far, most of the seminaries are in the Southern Baptist convention, with one being a Presbyterian. Southern Baptist, Southwest Baptist, etc.

Ideally, I'm looking for a M.Div that will prepare me and advance my interests in chaplaincy towards jail/prison, or alternatively, corporate.

Liberty (https://www.liberty.edu/) has an on-line M.Div, I think. If you want the education but not the bill, check out https://www.biblicaltraining.org. Bill Mounce leads it, and he wrote the Greek class and book most seminaries seem to use. However, there's a lot more than just Greek there.

Sadly, I've never really learned Greek nor any second human language. Spent a little time on the training site but life calls me elsewhere right now.

You'll find atpollard's sense of humor not quite British, but close. I haven't found mine so can't really describe it.

Some might say that Prison Ministry and Corporate Ministry are practically the same thing ... just the uniforms are different. ;)

And maybe. There is an organization called Corporate Chaplains of America, which was interesting to me.
