Check out the weekly challenge. I found it a lot of fun. It starts sometime Sunday and runs through midnight Saturday. It is usually pretty easy stuff. This week was write a story with a character who is really nice.

I'd been delaying my (quasi-)formal welcome in hopes that whatever bug in the forum software your post uncovered would be fixed so I could read your introduction in full first, but by this now it's clear that will likely take awhile.
