I am pleased to announce that my poetry book, Sixteen, So In Love With You is available on Amazon for $6.12. *Grins* :dieshappy: It is HERE.

Sixteen, So In Love With You, is a collection of simple heartfelt words to bring glory to God's name. In everything they are meant to reflect what it is to be in love with God.
These poems show His power, patience, kindness, and love, through the eyes of a sixteen year old. They also portray the struggles and questions of growing up and trusting in God's perfect plan.



For those of you who don't know, I've been in the process of self publishing for a few months now. I organized over seventy of my best poems into four categories, and then matched each poem with a Bible reference.

I had a LOT of help from so many wonderful people! I could have never done this as quickly as I did without so much encouragement and assistance. :)

These three girls were a HUGE blessing to me with all their help!!! :D They are in the Acknowledgments of my book:

Many HWers helped me with things like finding Bible verses to match certain poems, reading through parts of the document, helped me name my poems, critiqued my poetry, and and didn't mind my pestering. (Or maybe just didn't tell me I was being pesty. :blush: ;) )

I used a self publishing company called CreateSpace. https://www.createspace.com/Products/Book/

Some of the biggest reasons I chose to use Creatspace are:

The books are print on demand, so I only had to order one copy instead of fifty or more.
I got to design my own cover with their cover creator. (It was super easy and sooooooo much fun!)
It is owned by Amazon, so when I published I had the option (for no extra cost) for it to be listed on Amazon.com.
I could have potentially spent only $7.25 on the entire project if I hadn't ordered more than one copy.
They have 24hr phone tech support, and promptly answered my emails when I had questions about anything.
It was all in all fairly easy, with step by step instructions.

I am grateful God has given me this gift to use for His glory. It has been a blessing to spend time working on this, especially looking up specific Bible verses. I hope this book will bring God honor, as small and imperfect as my words are.

*Smirks* I didn't mean to cause confusion. Most everyone knew I was publishing, and about that same number (minus Grace) knew I was going to send Grace a copy. ;) . . . Grace now knows since I just couldn't stand not telling her any longer. ;)

I'm not trying to make money off of this book, so it's listed as low as it can be. Yesterday I found out CreateSpace had changed some things, and I was able to drop the price of my book again. It is now $3.60 + Shipping on Amazon. :D

Oh? It's Amazon's "fault"? *Shrugs* (I wasn't sure what had caused the royalty change.) All I know is, I did at double take when looked at the order you placed on my book. Instead of $.01 , I had a bit over $1.00. - And what do you know, I can drop the price. :cool:
