In June of this year, our very own Renna published a book of songs, short stories, poems and drabbles. It is not specifically set in the fantasy genre, although most of the stories in the book are fantasy.

Here is the link:

Of Whispers and Wanderings by Theodora R. Ashcraft

I said I'd start up a thread in Members' Work, so here it is.

I love the title you picked, Renna. :)

I have only just heard about it's publication, but when I can I intend to buy it, and then I will write a review!

I have already purchased and read it, and it is quite wonderful. ^_^ I thoroughly enjoyed it, and though Renna will say otherwise, she is a very good writer.

I shall get a copy when the Kindle version comes out. In the meantime those I have on G+ share away and see if we can get this moving up the popularity ranks. Not read it but I'm sure its awesome. Why? Cuz Teddy wrote it! :D

:dieshappy: I have a signed copy. It is a lovely little book - Renna is a good writer and doesn't take near enough credit for that and I enjoyed getting to read her collection. :salute:

Hmm...Amazon let me read a lot of it. Perhaps a majority of it.

Anyway, it is as I expected - really, really, really, good. Renna is an amazing writer.

I'm planning on buying it as soon as possible to read all of it. It might be in the next few months.

You guys. (And Joel and Ophelia were indeed right, I do say otherwise, and I don't take much credit at all. Sorry, you two. ;))

I guess since this is here, I have to post periodical updates... :P

Well, Of Whispers and Wanderings is on Goodreads now. I'm still trying to work out the bugs with it, but it's there.

And I hope to have it on Kindle by the end of this month, hopefully sooner.

 *Is behind the curve*

Finally got it! Came yesterday in the mail. Can't wait to read it. The only reason I haven't yet is because normally, to protect the spine and such, my sister puts clear tape on the spine and ends so it doesn't get damaged. I've started doing that too. You just have to do it carefully so you don't damage the book or get air bubbles or anything like that.

Well, I got the tape protection thing on much sooner than I expected, so, um...I'm sort of already halfway through it.

But it's good. I really don't know what you're afraid of.

Ahh, well, I'm coming close. We'll see if I'm still here when I finish reading. ;)

I finished it.

*Checks* Yup. Still alive. Haven't died yet. :dieshappy:

In all seriousness, it was really good, and I enjoyed it thoroughly - even the songs and poems, which I really didn't expect to.

Overall, I would like to see full-length stories about many of the characters.

:) A lot of them have, or are going to have, full-length novels. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Reviews on Amazon are appreciated, if you get the chance. :D

Oh, I don't have an Amazon account...unless you don't need one to write a review...
