The Railway Man.
This film is absolutely incredible. Based on true story about a British officer in WWII who was captured by the Japanese, taken to a labor camp, and suffered horrendous treatment.
Years later, he finds that the Japanese man responsible for his torture is still living and he seeks to confront him.

Have any of you watched this movie? :)

Is it very clean? Could a whole family watch it?

It's relatively clean. There were a couple of "stuff" scenes to skip (nothing morally wrong, just didn't need to be shown), and it was very violent (torture scenes, a suicide, beatings, etc), but being based on a true story, the violence was necessary to portray it properly.
The rating is M, and I wouldn't recommend it for a whole family watch. 17+, maybe? But it's definitely worth it. It'll give it away if I say why.

I can't honestly say that I'd even heard about it before now, but it sounds like it's worth looking into. I usually stay away from intense films--not my fare--but this also looks like a good story. I'll have to check it out sometime. :)

I haven't seen this, but I definitely want to. I don't know when I'll get to see it, but I'll definitely add it to the list.
