Did any of you guys see The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn? It's with the voices of Andy Serkis, Jamie Bell, and Daniel Craig.

For some reason, I had decided I was not going to watch it - I'm not sure why. Anyway, my brother and his Fiance came over at weekend, and they brought it and said it was brilliant, and we had to watch it. Well, it was awesome! Really good! I enjoyed it so much, and laughed so much! The animation is fantastic.

Definitely worth a watch! :)

Agreed. :D

If you know the book series, it's a bit of a mix of a few of the stories but it's done quite seamlessly with a nice thread of imaginative mayhem for good measure.

If it's totally new to you, it's still a great adventure mystery film with some very amusing points. It actually inspired the creation of films like Indiana Jones.

My brother said the opening credits look fantastic in 3D.

We saw this movie whilst on holidays, and we loved it! :D I was sitting there half the time just stunned over the realism. i.e., characters movement, elements, action, etc. It was impeccable!

I loved the story too. :D I thought it was a great watch, though I did kinda get over Haddock being so drunk all the time. :P Not the best kind of message to put across for kids... But on the whole, I really liked the movie. :D I'm looking forward to seeing their future films.

I remember eagerly reading the books while younger... The movie was fun, and did a good job in keeping a similar theme and suspense to the books while taking it in a new direction.

I watched it, and I liked it. It was definitely a fun movie, though it distracted me from my essay writing.

That element was present in the books as well (we have most of them). It doesn't really make people inclined to go drink alcohol, though. * half grin * The captain is constantly getting them into trouble because he's not himself, and Tintin, the 'hero', blatantly never drinks. Is is portrayed like that in the movie as well?

I watched it and loved it. I was an avid, avid fan of the books when I was little--back when I was about... six or seven, for nearly a year and half, they were all I read.

 I bought it a couple of months back and watched it again. I enjoyed it just as much the second time. :)
