When the world of Krull is invaded by a powerful creature known as “The Beast” and his army of “Slayers,” the kingdoms know it is time to bury their differences and unite against the attackers. In the hopes of joining their two rival kingdoms, Princess Lyssa and Prince Colwyn decide to marry to form an alliance. But on their wedding night, the castle is raided, and Lyssa is stolen away to the Beast’s Black Fortress.

Colwyn sets off to find her, with the help of an aged prophet. Along the way he meets a clumsy, shape-shifting magician, a band of robbers, a seer, and a cyclops, and comes up against the Widow of the Web, the murderous Slayers, quicksand, evil creatures, the Black Fortress itself, and eventually, the mighty Beast.

Can Colwyn claim victory over the forces of evil and rescue his bride? Can Krull be freed from the clutches of the Beast? And in the face of fear and danger, can faithful love prevail?

All I remember of this film was that Liam Neeson had small bit part in the movie and that the film was far too 70's for me. :P

80's. ;) It only seemed slightly dated to me.

Really o.O It sure looked like a 70's film.

Unfortunately, I can't really say how good or bad it was, as I barely remember it (even though I saw it not too long ago).

That is usually a bad sign with me, as I remember most movies pretty well.

(It is on Hulu, so maybe I'll give it another try sometime.)

Ah.

It's a very good, though flawed, movie.

*chuckles* That's not much of a taunt. ;)

Whether or not I have the ability to see it isn't really up to me.

Currently, you can watch it for free on Crackle, which is an ad-based website that puts certain movies up for free that you can watch on your computer. It also works with Roku boxes. I happened to see it in the lineup the other day.

There's a link to the Crackle location on the Internet Movie Database page for this film.

Interesting. :book: Unfortunately though, I'm extremely low on both time and a reliable internet connection. :P
