Has anyone seen this movie? And if so, what did you think of it?

It's a fairly obscure film, but I came across it and thought the art style looked interesting, so I tried it. The animation was indeed unique and beautiful other than some weak spots, and the story was pretty good, too. The main issue was that the movie was about illustrating the Bible, and yet it ignores the spiritual implications, making the film seem somewhat empty.

I have a full review on my blog: http://jonathangarner.blogspot.com/2012 ... kells.html

I've heard of this, yes. I gave it a try a couple months ago, but the style of the movie wasn't exactly what I was looking for at the moment. I would probably be willing to try it again. :)

I've been wanting to see this for a while. Unfortunately, I'm too cheap to buy it and I know no where to watch it for free.

I've seen it before, but don't have a formal opinion I can back up with facts. I enjoyed the movie and it's animation style; dearly loved the voice of the girl when she sang to Pangur Ban. Other than those clear thoughts, it's been a while since I watched it and I have a feeling I'm about to start mixing it with other movies :P

This is on my Netflix Que. We'll get around to it eventually, I'm sure, but I'm waiting for a chance to see it with my little siblings. It's about the Book of Kells, right? I've read about that particular illumination and so of course I found the concept of the movie fascinating. I'll let you know what I think when I do see it.
