Hm.......Oh, I would love to see them make one of their movies with the main characters as lawyers. I think that would be interesting. :dieshappy: *nodnod*

I don't know...I would want Alex Kendrick to be in it - and I just don't see him being a lawyer... :)

Perhaps he could play the person the lawyers were defending. :D

Here are some suggestions.

... a movie with professional actors?
... a movie with an interesting, rather than emotionally manipulative, plot?
... a movie without boring expository dialogues?

(yeah, not a fan of Courageous) :/

Alex Kendrick is actually okay but the other actors ... bleh.

You must see it, Brendan! It's really, really good. :) Not perfect, no, but very good indeed... one of my favorites. :)

Yes, I definitely wouldn't say it's perfect, but I'm so excited at how the Christian film industry is developing, and I can see God blessing the efforts of the Kendrick brothers, because they honor Him. :) I really can't wait to see the next film, I'm sure it will be even better!

So, I watched it with the youth group a while back.
It was good. I did cry (a very little bit) and I'm not much for crying in movies.
I always watch for the story the first time. I refuse to watch a movie and try to critique the acting or the effects the first time around, unless I'm really jolted out of the story by it. The story was good. I guessed some of the plot points, too, but I did like their message.
Shane... Yeah... I would have been more disappointed in them if it was one of the others.
Did anyone notice that the lines of the resolution that they have each character say slightly foreshadows their individual problems? I did like that.
The Snake Kings scene was hilarious. Really. They have a talent for the bits of comedy, I would say, like when the one man accidentally starts eating the baby food.
My favourite scenes are the end, and when Adam finally goes back to dance with his daughter. That part was where I cried.

That part was sad. I think they should have played "Cinderella" by Steven Curtis Chapman when he danced with her.
