Weekly challenge:
Write a minimum 500 word short story based on this picture, with the theme of regret. Post it in the Fireside and include a link here. NaNo challenge:
Introduce a new character with at least one of strange looks/characteristics/mannerisms/speech. You do not need to be doing NaNo to take the challenge.

The Rules wrote:
1. All challenges must be declared completed by midnight Saturday in your timezone (please specify your timezone when you sign up).
2. All challenges (personal or weekly) must be declared by midnight Monday in your timezone.
3. Personal challenges cannot be repeated.
4. The organizer reserves the right to veto any challenges that seem too simple. (i.e. writing a sentence)

initiation pamphlet.
Also, I would like to remind everyone that any weekly challenge pieces that are posted on the forum will be eligible to be featured in our newsletter. Please post a link in this thread if you would like it to be considered.
