Weekly challenge: If someone visited one of your world's cities, where would they go sightseeing? Write at least five tourist guidebook entries for tourist attractions/historical places in your chosen city and post your entries in the Geography forum. Restaurants and lodgings do not count. Choose places such as castles, museums, parks, and the like. Each entry should include: basic details about the location, specific features to note, the hours of operation, and the entrance fees.

NaNo challenge: Include a betrayal in your writing this week. You do not need to be doing NaNo to take the challenge.

As always...

The Rules wrote:
1. All challenges must be declared completed by midnight Saturday in your timezone (please specify your timezone when you sign up).
2. All challenges (personal or weekly) must be declared by midnight Monday in your timezone.
3. Personal challenges cannot be repeated.
4. The organizer reserves the right to veto any challenges that seem too simple. (i.e. writing a sentence)

If this is your first time on one of these quests, you'll need to see the initiation pamphlet.

Also, I would like to remind everyone that any weekly challenge pieces that are posted on the forum will be eligible to be featured in our newsletter. Please post a link in this thread if you would like it to be considered.

If you could write your sign-up post in a similar format to the following, it would be appreciated:
Goal: weekly challenge (or whatever you decide to do)
Timezone: PDT

Slay that dragon!

Goal complete. (A couple word wars shortly after making a goal can do a lot....)

Weekly Challenge. (I love this)
NaNo Goal.
Personal Goal: Reach over 15,000 this week
Time: UTC

By the way, can I post the weekly challenge in my sub-forum? Or does it have to be in the Geography forum?

Blayne: your subforum is fine, too. I just didn't want to specify that, since not everyone necessarily has one.
