Your challenge for this week is to write a 500+ word short story in which the MC (or, Main Object, however you care to think about it) is a plant (any kind of plant, from a tree to a blade of grass, to Dionaea muscipula).

Pleeeeeaaase do the weekly goal and a personal goal? :beg: It makes it easier to add points up. :dieshappy:

Remember, in order to receive points for completing the weekly challenge, you MUST declare it by Monday at midnight.

As always...

The Rules wrote:
1. All challenges must be declared completed by midnight Saturday in your timezone (please specify your timezone when you sign up).
2. All challenges (personal or weekly) must be declared by midnight Monday in your timezone.
3. Personal challenges cannot be repeated.
4. The organizer reserves the right to veto any challenges that seem too simple. (i.e. writing a sentence)

If this is your first time on one of these quests, you'll need to see the initiation pamphlet.

Also, I would like to remind everyone that any weekly challenge pieces that are posted on the forum will be eligible to be featured in our newsletter. Please post a link in this thread if you would like it to be considered.

If you could write your sign-up post in a similar format to the following, it would be appreciated:
Goal: weekly challenge (or whatever you decide to do)
Timezone: PDT

WRITE! *fires AK-47 in the air*

*is very happy we can still post goals today* I was going to post one last night, but then HW was down. But it's just as well. I had two goals in mind, one of which I basically completed yesterday and the other of which I'm completing today... So I figure I better set myself a different goal.

Personal goal: Post at least 3 times on my blog this week
Timezone: CST
