*gasp* Yes, I'm back to posting these things again. A shame, too. Lycanis was doing such a good job. :D

Your challenge this week is to write a minimum 500 word short story on the theme of surrender.

As always...

The Rules wrote:
1. All challenges must be declared completed by midnight Saturday in your timezone (please specify your timezone when you sign up).
2. Personal challenges must be declared by midnight Monday in your timezone.
3. Personal challenges cannot be repeated.
4. The organizer reserves the right to veto any challenges that seem too simple. (i.e. writing a sentence)

If this is your first time on one of these quests, you'll need to see the initiation pamphlet.

Also, I would like to remind everyone that any weekly challenge pieces that are posted on the forum will be eligible to be featured in our newsletter. Please post a link in this thread if you would like it to be considered.

If you could write your sign-up post in a similar format to the following, it would be appreciated:
Goal: weekly challenge (or whatever you decide to do)
Timezone: PDT

Go!!!! *shoots off fireworks*

All right, I'm insane, but I'm in.
Oh! Can I set two personal goals? *can't remember the rules*

Anyway.

Goal: Weekly goal
Personal goal: write 5,000 words on Supervillain Hunters, International. (Is it cheating if you set a goal that you already know you're going to exceed just for the purpose of getting points because you know you can do it?)

Insane is the new sane. ;) You can make two goals, but they'll only count for one goal's worth of points. And no, it's not cheating. :D

Actually, since it's still goal-declaring time, can I change my goal? I would like to do 1000 words of writing in general instead. So it would be like this:

Personal goal: Write 1000 words
Timezone: MDT

If I decide to do the weekly challenge, can I add that now, or did I have to declare that earlier? *can't remember the rules and can't find this in the initiation pamphlet :?*

Great job Katharina!

I think you needed to do it earlier...but wait for Raven's official authoritatively decisive proclamation. ;)

I'm sorry, Katharina. All goals, including the weekly challenge, need to be declared by Monday night.

Woe is me! I finished my goal on Friday, but I forgot to report having done so... Is there any chance of getting an allowance since I was editing Peter's Angel and sending out party invites on Saturday? :P

I'm sorry, Aratrea, but I can only give you the points for your personal goal, because you didn't declare the weekly challenge at the beginning of the week. I'm glad you did it, though!
