Um....welcome to week ten of our quest! :dieshappy:

Our quest this week is to write a 500 word short story that has the theme of hope, and contains sentient trees. Exactly what was on your schedule already, huh? ;)

As always...

The Rules wrote:
1. All challenges must be declared completed by midnight Saturday in your timezone (please specify your timezone when you sign up).
2. Personal challenges must be declared by midnight Monday in your timezone.
3. Personal challenges cannot be repeated.
4. The organizer reserves the right to veto any challenges that seem too simple. (i.e. writing a sentence)

Also, I would like to remind everyone that any weekly challenge pieces that are posted on the forum will be eligible to be featured in our newsletter once it gets off its feet. Please post a link in this thread if you would like it to be considered.

If you could write your sign-up post in a similar format to the following, it would be appreciated:

Wolf, did you give me points on the scoreboard? Because I didn't earn any. I failed the weekly goal, and that cancelled out my personal goal points, so I didn't get anything.

You know, that's exactly what I was considering making my goal be... ;)

Really? I thought you only lost points if you missed your personal goal...*consults point system*...

Now, I totally might be misunderstanding this, but if this says what I think it says, you still got points. :? :)

Well, before I've failed a weekly goal that I declared but completed my personal goal, and I didn't get any points gained or lost.

Interesting...*isn't sure what to do* I'll try to contact Zoe, I guess, unless you just want me to take the points back off of your score. :P

*saves Lycanis the trouble of trying to contact her*

Danke schoen, Lycanis.

Also, because the thread was up so late this week, everyone has until TUESDAY night to declare their goals.

Points are deducted for any failed goal, regardless of type.

Oh, and for anyone's future reference, Lycanis is my assistant, and will take over any time I can't run the threadsIf Airi has a little elf, does that mean I have a little werewolf?. And I was mostly responsible for the crazy goal. ;)

Okay, thanks for clearing that up, Rave! ^_^

Yeah...sorry I forgot I was on duty. :P

So shall I take the points back off, or did you already, Raven?

No problem.

*chuckles* When I really go away, you'll have to set up alerts or something. ;)

I have not. Please go ahead.

Are so little. Aubrey's not little, and Airi calls her little. So I can call you little. *now thinks the word little looks weird*

Now someone did it. *was tired and distracted* Thank you, whoever. :D

Definitely...and you'll have to give me a schedule so I can set them up. Unless you told me already and I forgot...

On second thought, I'm going to change that to 1000 words on the article, considering I've written over 500 just on banquet etiquette...

*should post before she forgets*

I finished my goal. Though I should have left it at the original complete article, because I finished the whole thing anyway. :P
