Welcome to week eight! :D

Your quest is to pick one of your characters and take them through these questions.

BONUS weekly challenge: Participate in the Sci-Fi Drabble Contest! (only valid until Wednesday the 23rd!)

As always...

The Rules wrote:
1. All challenges must be declared completed by midnight Saturday in your timezone (please specify your timezone when you sign up).
2. Personal challenges must be declared by midnight Monday in your timezone.
3. Personal challenges cannot be repeated.
4. The organizer reserves the right to veto any challenges that seem too simple. (i.e. writing a sentence)

Also, I would like to remind everyone that any weekly challenge pieces that are posted on the forum will be eligible to be featured in our newsletter once it gets off its feet. Please post a link in this thread if you would like it to be considered.

If you could write your sign-up post in a similar format to the following, it would be appreciated:
Goal: weekly challenge (or whatever you decide to do)
Timezone: PDT

On your mark! Get set! Go!!! *fires pistol*

Wheeee! What if we do more than one character?

Bonus weekly goal! (I can squeeze out one more drabble by Wednesday.)
Goal: Send Jeffry Floyd through those questions.
Time Zone: CDT

I'd like to set a personal goal, but I'm worried I'll fail it because next week is so stressful. :P

*comes back* I'm going to add:

Personal Goal: Nalycian culture article. I know it's not very quantitative, but I don't know at this point what I need to work on... I'll let you know when I'm done. ;)

I am gonna die. But if I keep up with one scene a day (save Sunday), I can meet my goal of finishing the revision by the end of the month... so... Nobody lives forever! :salute: (Quote from The Emperor's New Groove.)

I wish I could do these, but I don't have time with exams drawing ever closer like a monstrous dragon drifting on the wind. Maybe when school lets out, though.

Does editing and rewriting my drabbles count for the personal goal? :P I don't have time to write more, but I have about 3 or 4 to rewrite, edit, and submit.

Azlyn: Did you mean personal goal or bonus weekly? If you already submitted them for the bonus weekly, it doesn't count for that, but your edits can count as part of your personal goal.

Just for the record...

Oh, and Lycanis? I'm sorry, but you do not get double points for writing that one history on your iPod. ;)
Lycanis wrote:

I did not mean double points, but double "glee" or ^_^ for having done something worthwhile on my ipod. *sticks tongue out at Raven for misunderstanding* :x sorry for that childish gesture...

Anyway...didn't my dwarf history count as the personal goal and the weekly goal? That would (I think) mean I get extra points or something for incorporating the weekly goal in my personal goal...unless I'm misunderstanding something (which is very possible, I know). :P

Goals: Weekly challenge, bonus weekly challenge, and more work on my Human race phonetic system.
Timezone: PDT

I'm going to join the personal goal this week. ^_^ (Question, do I have to say how many times I plan on completing the goal, or do I only have to foresee the one completion?)

Goal: Weekly Challenge

You mean do the weekly challenge? Anyway, no you don't have to specify how many times you'll do it, just do it and then if you feel like you can do it again go for it.

o.O You do realize it's dangerous in many ways to make faces, right?

And I do believe we are derailing the thread. If you would like to continue making faces at me, please do so in a PM. ;)

I submitted one drabble. I'd like to do one or two more... the brilliance I've been hoping for has yet to emerge. :?

Did another drabble. I have one last shot at brilliance... (the last one came close, but I think it was too vague.) I just need one good idea. :?

Nope, didn't get the drabble written, oh well.

But I finished the character questionnaire for Anya, and I got some good progress on my fractal. :D

Is there a certain place I have to post my MC's questionnaire or can I just say I've done it?

I finished a drabble Monday or Tuesday and submitted it. Last night I was able to finish the questionnaire for my main character. I hope to put another character through the questionnaire today or tomorrow. I have also finished my personal goal.

I hope you make it, Azlyn! My character (Lecan) is being snarky, and is annoyed by silly questions...but I keep telling him that they're important and (though he doesn't believe me) he is submitting a little better, I think, aside from the unnecessary comment now and then...
