Hmmm.... I am seeing coloring pieces of the elements in the Art gallery, which are not in the threads.

Make sure you embed your submissions into this (or one of the other three) thread after you have uploaded it into the art gallery, guys. We don't want to miss anyone's artwork for the judging after the 15th!

Watercolor pencils. One of the best inventions since sliced bread.

I was wondering what that was! Very awesome.

Were you able to use water and a paintbrush for that, or did you use something less... wet to keep the paper from warping?

Unfortunately I see I was not the first person to think of doing different seasons. *may yet do a seasonal series herself*

Oh girls, I am absolutely loving the seasonal differences. I always thought of spring when I drew the pictures, but I am totally thrilled and captivated by these! A+ on creativity and thinking outside the box!

Fuzzy, Andrew? *goes to look* I hadn't thought about it that way! That's just the texture Copic marker gets when coloring on computer paper, I guess. (At least the way I was coloring it.) I've been using several different markers for my unicorns, and it's really helped me get a feel for the differences. Thank you!

Question: Where's the download buttony thing where I can put it on my computer, print out and color it? Thanks!

I decided to do an Earth coloring for each of the seasons. I had fun playing with the color combinations! The winter one is my personal favorite.

Thanks! I couldn't get the picture of Holly and Ivy out of my head so I went with a Christmas theme.

Here's another one that got missed... this one is actually by Bethany's best friend Elizabeth. She was over last night and did some coloring while she was here. (Whenever we get an HW art forum we must drag her on... she's a spectacular artist. Her crayon work is beyond description.) Not technically a sibling, but still worth sharing.

She did that with crayons?! I can't get crayons to look like that! Crayons hate me.

I don't think that one is with crayons, that's with pencils. But her crayon work in general is amazing... no one can get crayons to look that way.
