Amanda! You most certainly are still submitting! You never know, you may get the essence better, or your colors may speak more to me, or your interpretation- you get the picture. You better post!

Besides, I know you do beautiful colored pencil work!

*pouts* *gives up and laughs* I was kidding... mostly. XD I'll still enter. :D I'm just mad at myself for thinking this was a contest I could win with some amount of ease - reasoning that since Villi and Celestria weren't entering, I'd have a good chance of winning... which was totally not true. :roll: I didn't know we had so many good artists hiding in the shadows. :cool:

And when I do color something the colors aren't near as breathtaking as yours! Speaking of which... I eagerly await seeing your submission! :D

Hmmm.... I am seeing coloring pieces of the elements in the Art gallery, which are not in the threads.

Make sure you embed your submissions into this (or one of the other three) thread after you have uploaded it into the art gallery, guys. We don't want to miss anyone's artwork for the judging after the 15th!

Well, my art supplies were limited to three pens (one of which was a sharpie)...so, I gave it my best shot :D Hope y'all like it!

EDIT: I can't seem to upload it from the artwork gallery. It's not (yet) showing up anywhere. Any suggestions?

I beg your pardon! A Sharpie is in no way an inferior art utensil! I've been using Sharpies on all of my entries. :D

Did you get the art into the gallery, or will it not upload to the gallery at all?

Well, I thought I got it onto the Art Gallery, but then I couldn't find it anywhere...

And as to sharpies, yes, they're brilliant, only it can be frustrating when yours is black and running out of ink. Nuff said!

Aww, thanks y'all! I feel very inadequate compared to all of you extremely beautiful artists here, but I enjoyed doing it so much. It's been too long since I colored! And even though I'm going through an extremely busy time right now (case in point: taking a very hard standardized test tomorrow morning, then leaving immediately after on a two-week trip to NE US, then moving a week later to CA, all while carrying on with school and trying to see friends)...but even amongst all that, this art contest has brought such peace and joy and love of God's artistry to my heart! So thanks, all the participants and judges and Airi, especially. Y'all are an amazing blessing!
