Hello all! In writing I have found it very important to properly develop main characters. This is a thread to do just that. Allow me to introduce you to my two main characters in the fantasy story I hope to write on this forum. (I know I've already introduced them, but this thread is just for them.)
Note: Please start a separate post for your own characters, one thread per character or per pair of characters.
How a Character Development Thread Works
- The characters the thread is for will occupy the thread.
Other characters are free to come and go as they please.
Other characters can ask those characters questions about themselves. (ex. where are you from? Do you like this or that?)
Really anything could happen in here, as long as it helps the author understand there character better. (Elyon can help explain further if necessary.)
The point of the thread is to help the author think about how their character would answer questions, talk, or relate to unfamiliar situations and people.

Okay, to get started, here is a short bit about Tyra and Silas.
Name: Tyra O’Dale (Dale town)
Nickname: Tyra of the Taverns
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Height: 5'4
Hair color and style: dark blond, braid down to her waist
Eye Color: brown, (they dance and sparkle when she tells her tales.)
Clothing: brown dress tunic (to mid-calf), cream over tunic, fastened at the waist with a leather belt, weather worn black cloak, tall boots.
Age: 19
Personality: She has a quick, bold tongue, is witty, and a bit snippy. To someone who doesn't know her, she appears easily tricked or won, but she is very careful (and can be very suspicious) of others. She's a bard and she keeps her trade well.
Other appearance: She has a tattoo on her left shoulder of a dragon clutching a sword and a small stone. She carries a tin flute in her left boot. She also has a large travelling pack.
Weapons: A hidden dagger in her right boot
Name: Sir. Silas Richardson
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Height: 5’9
Hair color and style: Dark brown, grown out pasted his ears, strait.
Eye Color: Soft green
Clothing: brown trousers, white shirt, black jerkin with a green and gold border, long leather overcoat, knee high brown boots, gray cloak.
Age: 29
Weapons: Hand and Half sword, and dagger.
Personality: Brave, he can be very prideful though he has a good heart, quiet, at times very serious. He’s a knight out of work, looking for a job……
