Post your goals here for this week. I'm a little disappointed in the downward trend of participation on these threads. I found more people posted when I put it on Saturdays, but those are getting crowded with recording and podcast stuff. If you don't see it on Saturday, check Mondays.

My goals for this week:
1) Write 3k more on short story I started today
2) Read back log of info on Triterrus
3) Read book for editing course (not whole thing, but as much as possible)
4) Write book review for The Serpent Kings by James Somers, including a rating for the Book Award in the Watchtower.

Last week's goal was a little too ambiguous, but I did a lot. I'm sure that is what most people are dealing with at the beginning of the week. If that's the case, then I understand. However, posting on these threads does help us be more productive because it holds us accountable to our goals. If you are like me at all you understand how we can set lofty goals and then not follow through once it comes time for the work. Dreaming is easy, achieving them is not. Use these threads to help you be an achiever, not just a dreamer.

Hmm. I want to get through ten pages of my NaNo, mostly looking to keep things consistent with the scene I added in earlier. If that pushes me into the climax where I'll want to change more things...this goal might change.

And I want to spend half an hour working on Do and Die.

Sounds good! As you edit, look for twists at the ends of scenes that give the reader new information.

I'm sorry I haven't been posting on these threads consistently... I'm behind on the forums overall. But this week I set a goal for myself and then made it! I wanted to finish plotting out the feature that I will write in April, and I finished doing that today. I am so thrilled! And now I want to go plot out my other features.
