Post subject:  Write a story from a single song.
This is a partner (you could say) to Eru's post "Write a story from a single picture"


My challenge is: write a short story (500-1000 words) based on one song. From YouTube, from your computer, from Pandora, from Grooveshark. Wherever. Just please post a link to the song when you post your story (so we can hear your inspiration ;)).

I'd say, post them in Fireside and link back to this thread or comment that it's a part of this challenge :)

I've never heard of this movie, but this chunk of soundtrack is nice. :)

It's actually a game. Independent and still in development, but they released some soundtracks from it.


I'm working on a story in connection with the song "How Deep the Father's Love" It's undergoing editing and redevelopment with Eve ( :D ) but should be done in the somewhat near future :)

Intrinsically Simple

The thread waved and danced, floating weightlessly on the slight breeze. She moved it, delicately, fixing it in just the right place. More threads filled the air as she weaved a pattern that only she knew. Glistening in the moonlight, the white threads wound themselves into an intricate design; one never seen before and would never be seen again. Like a queen among her subjects, she moved throughout the white strands, dictating where they should go, and to what they should form. It was a dance as old as time, a miracle so intrinsically simple...

The spider wove her web.
