I'm upping my word count goal from 6 to 10k since last week I wrote over 10k. I'm at 85,384 words on TGS and really want to finish in the next week or so. It might be a good idea to try and outline what chapters will accomplish what to help give me an idea how far I have.

If you post your goals on this thread please also let us know how you did so we can encourage/chasten you :o

Go, Tim, go! :D

My goal for this week will be to continue studying my Writer's Market and looking publishers up online. When next I can get to the library, I'm also going to research that way, but I'm not sure if that'll be this week.

My goal for the week is to brainstorm and write my Tolkien Revisited blog submission as well as start working over revising my Endocosmic/Exocosmic post into a blog submission. Didn't do so hot with my goals for last week, so I hope to do better this week.

My goal this week is to start fixing the newly discovered problems in the novel I edited for the sixth or seventh time last week. How much of it I can get done in a week remains to be seen, so my basic goal will be to work on it around two hours a day.

I, shamefully, haven't felt very motivated to research publishers this week. It isn't a pleasant job, most days. However, today I was at the library and I browsed some picture books that were similar in style to my book and wrote down the publishers. That is a definite start in the right direction, and it was enjoyable.

:P I didn't write much last week... But! not only did I find a blog idea, I finished the post too :D

I wrote about 1,500 words of the 3,000 words for my month goal :D

Since I'm late this week  I'll put one short goal down:
Write a folk tale for Ashta (I have tonight and tomorrow to do it).

I wanted to actually get around to writing about 300 words. *has been very busy* And I've sort of been procrastinating... :eyeroll: Anyway, got the 300 words.

Whoohoo! Got to my 10k word count goal! Glad to see you guys posting goals on here. One thing that was helpful for me this week was that I wrote 7300 words by today, which would have been more than enough to meet last week's goal, but since I pushed myself to write 10k, I had to write today and I made great progress. Now my next goal is going to really push me, so stay tuned...
