I have to back out of the weekly challenge. I'll do the personal challenge, though. I didn't realize I had so much schoolwork and a doctor appointment this week. :P

I finished the weekly challenge! It is posted in the FirstX essence map section of the Historical Fiction forum. It fits better over there :D. I may try one for my antagonist today. We'll see if I have the time.

I am 415 words away from my personal goal, but I should be able to finish that today.

Yay! I did it! My first essence map, thanks to the weekly challenge! Thanks for organizing this, Raven! :dieshappy:

Well...I'm pretty sure it's done...I mean, it qualifies as an essence map, I could never completely finish essencing this character (the fact that I know that now is a good sign that essencing him has had it's effect, is it not?).
Besides, it's of a WereWolf that can take three forms-each one influencing everything about him except his spirit-so I basically did three essence maps! (no, I'm not asking for triple points, I'm saying that I qualified to finish the challenge, though).

I'm going to have to post this for critique after I work a little more on it...

(just saw your next post, Faith! Way to go!)

Personal goal=done! Now, to see if I can finish a second essence map, just because I think it would be fun :D.

I finished my essence map... it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be. :)

Yay! Good job! I found it easier than I thought it'd be, too, but it's still hard for me! :) I'm glad you got it done!

Finished my first essence map! I'm not entirely sure if I grasped the concept correctly, but I finished it. Considering working on another one before midnight.

Good job Fyrstar! I know how that is, I'm not sure how well I grasped the concept either. :P

I agree with Abira, Lycanis, and Fyrstar. It was a little easier than I thought, but I'm not sure I completely grasped the concept.

I finished a second essence map! I'm not completely happy with it so will probably go back and edit some, but it is done!

Here is my essence map so it can be considered for the newsletter. It's still being edited a little, but that is the current version. :D

Here's the link to the essence I did, it needs a lot of polishing I'm sure, so I don't know if even can be considered for the newsletter, but if it can, I want it to be. viewtopic.php?f=50&t=6095
