Terminus: Do not teach me in the history of my world. I know of the tales and I do not fear them. *kicks her when she ducks* *pulls one more time on the whip then suddenly let's go* *slices at Alexis' neck again*

Alexis: *laughs* Even your leader fears him. *falls* *jumps up, clearly in pain* *blocks the slice with the handle on her whip* *strikes Terminus in an X across his body, bringing the whip back so it can't be grabbed*

Terminus: My leader is weak. I deal with his antics only for a time. *orb of light appears around him just long enough to block the whip* *is now breathing heavily* *catches breath just long enough to slice at Alexis' shoulder with one sword* *kicks her on the side then thrusts at her chest*

Me: *is glad Pavix isn't here to hear what Termy said* Oh....heeeeey....there's a character development idea. *grins and looks at Emuna* I know somebody who can beat you up.

Emuna:

Alexis: *raises one eyebrow* *steps backwards to avoid the slice* *steps sideways to avoid the thrust, walking into the kick* *grimaces in pain* *steps on her sword* *nudges her toe under the sword and tosses it up so that she can catch it in the air*

Me: *echoes Emuna*

Me: (@Zoe) I might not bring him in...that requires choosing what form he'll be in and that's too much work...

Emuna: *lets out breath*

Me: Then again...'twould be fun.

Emuna: 'twould?

Me: Whatever.

Terminus: *grabs sword from air before Alexis can reach it* *holds it in both his hands* *bends the blade* Like I said; really nice sword...

Me: *glares at Terminus* If you break it I will use the magic words.

Terminus: *sighs* No fun. *throws sword behind him, where Alexis can't reach* *creates both swords in his hands again* *thrusts at Alexis*

Griffin: (kicks one of Beduun's legs to get out of the leg hook, knees Beduun in the stomach, takes the arm Beduun was hyper extending and smashes in Beduun's face, leaping up and grabbing his sword)

Chayn: [Smiels slightly, Pokes him with her tail before turning back to Raczr and Pirzak]

Aelynn: Oh, that would be fun! What will we need?

Suragore: [Glances back at Alaric with just the slightest hint of a smile. He starts swimming faster] Hold on tight. You must be my eyes for this part. [Slowly submerges, closing his hood and pumping the water with his wings.]

Zurik: [Remains perfectly still and grips Kaid'as foot in his hand as it comes up. He twists it awy viciously (if that doesn't work tell me)]

Seymour: Closer than you can a bladed spear, at least. [Leans backward to avoid the slice, then counters with one of his own] Come, overwhelm me.

Tynx: Not again! [Jumps and rolls out of the way, running behind Fallen] So, you use both shadow and light. That's interesting.

Chase I'm here again?....

Zurik: Why must you do this to me?!

Me: What? He's not tearing at your neck like some people. He kind of needs a bit more development, so shush.

Zurik: You dare shu-

Me: Shush.

Gavin: Overwhelm you? Is that even possible? *blocks Seymour's slice, pushes his sword against Seymour's staff*

Alexis: *eyes spark* *jumps back, bringing the whip down hard on Terminus's hands and arms*

Skylar: *quickly wraps the rope around the other front leg and the first back leg again*

Terminus: *cuts the whip with his sword* Oh, that angered you, did it? *slices at Alexis' neck* What do you know, the little girl is protective over her metal toy. BETHY! The little girl misses her night-night. Should I give it ba-OW!

Me: Don't drag me into this. *pelts Termy with dictionaries*

Terminus: Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Will you stop? Just. Stop.

Me: *pauses* I pause...not stop.

Alexis: It is not a metal toy. It is a lethal weapon passed down from generation to generation for two hundred years that has been entrusted to me. I can live without it, but it has been part of the legend since it cut the first Z into a soldier's coat. *blocks the slice with the handle of what used to be her whip*

Me: (@Rae) *chuckles* Each time you call him Termy, I think termite.

Terminus: *pushes against Alexis* An ancient relic then? Good for you, collect useless items. I'm sure they'll prove worth something eventually...or just end up to be nothing but trash.

Me: (@Zoe) Haha...the very reason why I call him that.

Alexis: A lethal weapon cannot be useless. It means something to me, my family, and the people it has helped. Hope and protection. *steps backwards out of range and releases the block*

Terminus: *scowls* For a girl that should be suffering major blood loss, you sure have a temper. *slices at Alexis' neck again while stabbing at her chest* As for the sword; anybody who finds hope and protection in an object is unwise. Objects get stolen... *grins* or broken.

Me: You should be the one to talk.

Terminus: *pauses* Why?

Me: Well...you did almost kill Emuna for a neck-

Terminus: That's different.

Me: Riiiiight.

Alexis: *sighs in exasperation* They don't find hope and protection in the sword. It is a symbol. *blocks the slice and jumps back from the thrust, mostly getting away*

Terminus: So...they'd be fine if say...the sword just...disintegrated? *sends five more orbs at Alexis*

Me: Brian, I can't believe you're just watching this...

Brian: What? She's not losing.

Me: *thwacks Brian* Get into character!!!

Brian: Ow! Fine, fine, fine! *covers face defensively* Just don't go hitting me again... *mumbles* Cruel author.

Me: Well, apparently cruelty works.

Brian: *sighs* *picks up rock* Hey! TERMITE! *throws rock at Terminus*

Me: That's one way to steal Zoe's insult...

Me: "It's Tuesday! I'm jumping back in now... should be able to keep up."

Pirzak: "Yeah, right, like-"

Me: *wings a thesaurus at him*

Me: "I assume she's still on Chayn's back..."

Terminus: *disitegrates rock before it hits him* *turns around to look at Brian* You dare challenge me, coward.

Brian: *grabs another rock* If challenge means throwing rocks at you...then....yeah. *throws another rock at Terminus*

Terminus: *throws orb at Brian, it hits the rock and prevents it from hitting him*

Brian: *ducks* *grabs Alexis' sword* Hey, you're getting good at that.

Terminus: *glares at Brian* Watch your mouth...

Terminus: *sighs* Annoying boy. *turns back to Alexis* Where was I? Oh, right... *creates a dagger in his hand* *throws it at Alexis*

Brian: *glares at Julian* You should find a heart for your sister and care less about a sword. *twirls sword in his hand* Besides, this doesn't look like the kind of sword that is easily broken... *smiles*

Terminus: *sighs in exasperation* If you just stood still and let me kill you, things would be so much simpler.

Brian: *sings* Termite was a bad boy, he decided to be evil and so...I'm going to kill him.

Terminus: *rolls eyes* Really? That doesn't even rhyme.

Brian: Hey, I'm not a poet, okay?

Terminus: I couldn't tell.

Brian: We can do without the sarcasm. *throws orb at Terminus*

Terminus: *side steps* Ohh...so you want to play like that, do you?

Brian: *gulps* Uhh...sure.

Alianna: *listens intently* Open what? Why did he want it open?

Me: *giggles* Muffin man.

Seymour: It is if you think quickly. [Seymour pushes back, then twists his staff, redirecting gavin's sword. Side-steps and cuts at his side] Be relentless.

Chayn: [Flicks tail in amusement. Jerks her head up to avoid Raczr, then glowers at him menacingly and drools poison]

Me: Yeah, like that's mature.

Chayn: Not your battle.

Cassie: Hi, new people! Are you all humans? Or different creatures? I'm human, just a normal one. There are dragons here, too. But most of them are racing. There are bad guys above us, but one of them is really angry, so we probably shouldn't bother him.

Chase: Breathe, breathe.

Rowen: [Grunts and lowers himself further into the water, pumping his wings frantically, splashing water everywhere.] Would it be cheating to acquire jets?

Mordir: [Jumps out of the way for one star, and catches the other] I am the better assassin. It's how I make my living, I can't go back to what I once was. Nor do I want to, anyway. [Throws the star back]

Zurik: Foolish cat. [Elecetricity emanates from Zurik]

Me: Let me know if he's getting too overly powerful.

Gavin: I can't think quickly...or rather...my author can't.

Me: Hey!

Gavin: *blocks slice and grabs at Seymour's staff*

Me: Umm...

Julian: (@Brian) *stares at him for a moment* *unexpectedly breaks into a grin* *tosses Alexis his sword*

Alexis: (@Terminus) Simpler for you, maybe. Not for me. *cuts an X in the air, getting a feel for the sword*

Skylar: *whispers to Pirzak* Pull on the end of the rope on three. One....two....

Brian: *smiles at Julian* Good boy. *ducks just as an orb flies above his head* (@Terminus) Hey! I wasn't ready! Foul! Author, Foul! I say Fo-

Me: It's a duel to the death, there are no fouls.

Brian: Honestly, sometimes I wonder if you really want us to die.

Me: Well...it would make for an interesting storyline.

Brian: *scowls* That's lovely.

Terminus: Are you going to stop running your mouth and fight me, coward?

Brian: I don't know....does running my mouth annoy you? Because if so...I can talk for hours.

Terminus: Let me respond with a question of my own...Can you run your mouth without vocal chords? *throws three orbs at Brian*

Brian: *blocks all three with the sword* I don't know, good question. I'm going to have to say...hmm...is there multiple choice to this question? *throws two orbs at Terminus*

Terminus: *throws two orbs at Brian's, disintegrating them before they hit him* Oh, come on, coward. You can do better than that.

Brian: Who said I was doing my best? I'm just getting started.

Terminus: *chuckles* Well, you might want to start doing your best a little faster or you won't get a chance to.

Brian: Certainly.

Julian: *winks at Brian*

Alexis: *walks up behind Terminus while he's distracted* *puts her arm around his neck with her sword at his throat*
Me: Maybe not such a good idea, especially considering you're shorter....
Alexis: *shrug*

Brian: *raises eyebrow at Julian* Alexis....maybe you shouldn't use his sword...

Terminus: What is your obsession with helping gir-*pauses* *sighs* You just don't learn, child. *body is covered in blue armor to protect him from sword* *grabs Alexis' wrists and twists it* *turns around to face her, bending her arm in an awkward position*

Brian: Really? It's easier to protect Gavin for Elah's sake!

Gavin: *pauses in duel* I'm sorry, what?

Brian: Nothing, don't take your eyes of the enemy. *points to Seymour* I'm not protecting you from him. Focus.

Gavin: *mumbles* Just wanted to find out what was going on.

Brian: *twirls sword in his hand again* *watching Terminus and Alexis*

Amos: I'm not sure... Does anyone have leather or canvas?

Brand: *slows down and spreads his wings, still a few paces ahead of the others*

Erronys: *spreads his wings and catches the current, thrashing his tail for speed*

Levi: *comes alongside Erronys and Silver, taking up more breadth because of his crocodilian swimming*

Kaida: *uses Zurik's distraction, her rubber based shoes, and her non-metal blade to stab him between two ribs from the back*

Alaric: *gulps a little and looks ahead*



Fallen: *spins to face Tynx* That's right. I was created capable of using the power of light, and the shadows powers were...a gift.

Niarah - (Leaps off Zurik) What?

Me - Inesdar is actually here.

Niarah - (Glances over) Who, that guy? So what?

Me - Hi Brendan! Wow, you actually entered the insanity. Ok, that snow leopardess is Niarah, Azura's daughter. Her brother Rahor is . . .

Rahor - (Appears out of nowhere) Whoa . . . What just happened?

Me - Right there. Ember, Silver, and Thysal are my dragons, Sylvia and Ryan are humans, Ashrai is an Ananthi, and Zanya is a Felanai (feel free to ask questions about those two). Kuura'zan and Sumira are Sharthi, and I think that's all my characters. These guys are only a small fraction of the awesome Charries in here.

Niarah - Rahor! (Tackles her brother) You're alive!

Rahor - Of course I'm alive! (Untangles himself) What on earth?

Niarah - Oh, right. (Picks up her bo and circles Zurik and Terminus, then leaps at Zurik once more)

Kuura'zan - (intercepts Niarah's attack, throwing her across the room, before bounding after her)

Ashrai - (Is momentarily distracted) Niarah! (yelps as the star hits his shoulder. Gritting his fangs, he pounces at Mordir)

Rahor - (Walks to Inesdar) Greetings, and welcome!

Sumira - And . . . He totally missed that his sister was being attacked.

Me - Absentmindedness. A trait of his mother.

Thysal - (Stares at me) You have got to do something about those cats of yours.

Me - Guys, let me know if Niarah and Ashrai get too annoying. XP

Silver - (starting to fall behind Levi, but keeps ahead of Victor)

Ember - Rowen, *pant* if you manage *pant pant* to obtain *pant* rockets, mind *pant pant* sharing *pant*?

Me - Silver, Ember, and a bunch of other reptiles are involved in a river race over there.

Sylvia - C'mon, Erronys! You can do it you can do it!

Me - That's the longest post I've written in who knows how long?

Sumira - Well, you brought back another charrie, and one totally captures the spotlight for some reason . . .

Me - She's my MC.

Sumira - . . . And you brought mention of at least three who had faded with time. Think you have too many in here yet?

Me: Hi, Inesdar! Let's see, my characters. Alaric's over there riding one of the racing reptiles (hehe). He's human, no special powers or anything. Dai's another normal human; he's over there just watching things because I haven't done anything with him for a while. Ark is with him. He's a Fae. Fallen is fighting Tynx. She's also a Fae, but currently serving a demon. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about any of them.

Me: *coughs* Fallen's the one who serves the demon. Tynx is someone else's character, as it happens.

Julian: (@Brian)*offended* There's nothing wrong with it! What's so suspicious about a friendly wink?!

Alexis: (@Brian) I'm not about to give up. (@Terminus) *grimaces in pain* *kicks him in the knee.

Me: (@Inesdar[author]) You joined us! My characters are all normal humans. Alexis and Julian are my MCs. Alexis is proud, generally cool tempered, and protecting. Julian is generally grumpy, difficult, and proud. The two of them word-spar a lot. Devon is my villain, and Skylar my supporting villain.

Alexis: *waves at Inesdar (character) with her free hand*

Me: *girly squeal* SHARK BAIT'S IN THE CI!!!!! EEEEEP!!! AND HE BROUGHT INESDAR!!!! *jumps up and down excitedly* *takes breath* Okay..explain character....let's see. Right now I have Gavin, Emuna, Brian, Taranis (he ain't doing much), Alianna, and Termy...Terminus.

Terminus: *scowls*

Me: Gavin and Alianna are normal humans, but Alianna is from twenty first century Earth...not Fantasy story, spy story. Gavin's from Chevl'Set...

Gavin: I hate being a normal human.

Me: You were fine with it two books ago, doofus! Emuna and Brian are Lumenian. Terminus has the power of the Lumenians, but he uses dark forces so he is slightly stronger, but his power can be taken away from him if need be, yeah, that's a whole other book. Taranis is a dragon...just an ordinary dragon, no explaining there. He's more or less Gavin's dragon...and....I think that's everyone.

Emuna: And a rant and a half.

Me: Just ignore it and carry on...what were you doing?

Brian: She wasn't doing anything of importance. (@Alexis) It's not giving up if you're defeated.

Terminus: *is unfazed by kick* You really need to learn, girl. With my armor, nothing fazes me. *twists her arm more*

Brian: (@Julian) Well, pardon me if it didn't seem to me like you were the kind of guy to do a "friendly wink"

Me: Is that everybody? I got everybody right? Okay... *glomps Shark*

Me: *screams and rips hair out* (not really) Ugh, I'm behind 5 pages!! Now I am SERIOUSLY PROPOSING that we be allowed only one post per day.

Me: Okay, I think those were all your duels, Caleb...I'm probably wrong, but, yeaaah...

Emuna: *mumbles perfectionist mumbles* 

Me: *thwacks Emuna* 

Emuna: Ow!

Me: Welcome Inesdar. We've met but allow me to introduce my characters, fortunately the geckos have gone... Erronys is the mute basilisk near the bottom of the river *points* Malcolm is the red wyvern with the water-skier on his tail and Tanner is the young man on his head. Victor and Levi are the crocodiles and if you see a flash of silver that's Brand the pyrausta (hand sized dragon). They'll all say hi when they're out of the river.

Oh, and Lyna is the girl with the tail riding on the crocodile.

Lyna: *waves before going back underwater*

Victor: *tries to push ahead of Silver but can't quite make it*

Guilo is the kid with wings and wearing black leather *scans crowd* Oh, there, on Ember's back.

Guilo: *salutes*

Amos is the one with his hair in his eyes over there and Kaida is the angry one fighting the weirdo who's giving off sparks. *points to Kaida and Zurik*

Amos: Uh, hi.

Kaida: *completely distracted* Greetings.

Trevelian is the hooded one on the other side of the river with the striped otter next to him.

Trevelian: *watches the race not realizing he's being spoken of*

Skootter: *sees Inesdar and dives into the river*

Aannd, Aren and his dogs are hunting in the woods there, he's an anthrogryph. that's everyone so far.

Kicking his leg wouldn't get him out of the leg hook, and the attempt to do so would give Beduuin the time he needs to shatter Griffin's arm.

Me: (@Elanhil) Devon bumped his head, and now he's trying to chase Rinifer back along the rafter with kicks. I can repost his moves every once and a while for you, if that would help.

Alexis: (@Brian) I am not defeated! (@Terminus) *grits teeth* You can't blame me for trying.

Julian: *sulkily* I'm not always grumpy.
Alexis: Glad you said always. It covers the one time out of ten that you aren't.

Me: *had to go back and read what Terminus said* Uhhh....wow, I need to start taking notes of what my characters last said.

Terminus: Actually, yes, I can blame you. *twists arm more* What if I just break it? Will that teach you well enough? *pulls up suddenly*

Me: Hmm...I feel like I've read this somewhere...*glances at Fallen*

Gavin: *unconciously rubs arm* Ow...

Brian: (@Alexis) What would you call your situation, then?

Me: If Terminus is holding her arm the way I think he is, pulling up would release the lock, not break it. Does he have her arm with her palm facing away from him, and her arm out to her side, elbow pointing down, so that her arm is sort of like a V?

Alexis: (@Brian) Mmm. Inconvenient would work.

Me: I'm gonna say yesss....

Gavin: You know...your nickname really shouldn't be Rae.

Me: What?

Gavin: It should be Guesser....

Me: Oh...that's mature...(@Zoe) Umm...Yeah, that sounds about right...ish.

Terminus: *rolls eyes at Me*

Me: Hey! Don't roll your eyes at me! *throws dictionary at Termy*

Termy: *dodges* Ha!

Me: *pouts*

Gavin: And she says I'm immature.

Me: OK, because pulling up on that would straighten the arm, not break it.

Me: What if he twists it in the opposite direction until it breaks?

Gavin: You're just trying to find ways to be more violent now...
