Merashath: *Growls and spins around, breathing a tongue of fire out, and then proceeds to take off and make chase*

Rinifer: *pushes Devon's arm away with his*

Lyna: I like to swim! *shows Shawn her tail and the webbing between her fingers* and climbing trees... Well, exploring in general. What about you?

Guilo: *hangs on to Ember's back for dear life*

Me: Not that he'd die if he fell, and he really finds it exhilarating after being indoors most of his life.

Devon: *hooks his leg around Rinifer's* *arches his back and flips over, sending Rinifer hurtling off the rafter* *grabs the rafter just in time and pull himself back on top*

Shawn: "I love those things too, though I bet you can out-swim me. I love to travel, which is good, considering my job."

Jay: "Then I turned back to Sara. No one was there, either."

Pirzak: *ignores the story*

Me: "Ha!"

Pirzak: "I'm busy, okay? Skylar, care to attempt a move?" *irritated*

Suragore: [Lands in the water, pops head up out of the water, snarling. Glares at Silver] Trying to cover Mordir's ack. The coward surrendered.

Mordir: I'm not a coward! You'd do the same if you were being threatened with a pressure point! Anyone would.

Me: Um, probably not. Most likely they would have some way to get out of it.

Mordir: [Turns on me] So it's your fault!

Me: Crud.

Tesmir: Brilliant work, Author. You've placed the target on your back.

Me: [To Ciela] I've had that happen.

Tounon: You always have that happen. You've forgotten the twins, too.

Me: No, I knew they were here. They just don't have anything going on. Now, Mark and Zurik are another story. Mark's disappeared altogether, and Zurik was going to do sometihng, but didn't.

Tesmir: There's our author for you.

Cassie: I think so. What's a clinch position?

Aelynn: Come on! [Pulls Amos to Seymour] Amos, this is Prince Seymour. Seymour, Amos.

Seymour: [Smiles and offers his hand] A pleasure.

Zurik: [Slashes at Rodash from behind]

Me: There he is!

Tounon: Our author found a villain!

Tesmir: Applaude!

Me: [Whacks both]

Chayn: [Lifts leg to avoid Raczr, pounds her foot down]

Aris: [Sits back, listening to Jay intently]

Lyna: What's your job?

Amos: *nods his head as if to start bowing but stops awkwardly and shakes Seymour's hand* Hello...sir.

Me: Yes, as a character he is developed. As a social person, not so much.

Tanner: I miss the lizards, they could always fill in the blanks of a conversation.

Me: Buddy, that's why I sent them home. Go talk to people!

Skylar: (@Pirzak) Oh, beg your pardon. My author forgot about me. *as Chayn is distracted, tries to plunge his knife into her side*

Jay: "I tore around the fairgrounds, trying to find her. I had no success: Jaimie was going to kill me."

Shawn: "I'm an analyst... I travel around some when I, um, analyze... things."

Pirzak: *slashes at Chayn's neck* "It's fine."

Raczr: *moves quickly back, and then goes for Chayn's leg again*

Me: *is begging the character intros not to explode while she is busy with this conference*

Rinifer: *is thrown several feet, and barely manages to grab onto the rafter with his arm. Soon it slips down to his fingertips, and he swings his other hand around and grabs at the rafter*

Me: Is that it? Pardon if I missed any actions...

But Griffin had his arms against the ground. Did Beduun just stick his arms between Griffin's and Griffin's body?

Lyna: So you just get to look at stuff and get paid? That's so cool! I don't really have a job right now...

Devon: *jumps lightly down to the rafter Rinifer's holding on to* *grinds the heel of his shoe on Rinifer's fingers*

Me: Zurik attacked Rodash with a slash.

Cassie: That rhymes!

Aelynn: [Smiles, bouncing on her toes]

Seymour: Please, call me Seymour. I'm glad Aelynn's found a friend. She usually tends to be a bit reserved.

Aelynn: [Blushes] Not always!

Tesmir: Come hang with us, Tanner! We'll find some sort of trouble to throw ourselves into.

Tounon: Us? When did I get pulled in?

Tesmir: When you and I became friends, that's when.

Rune: Rousen almost began to regret taking Tounon as a pupil.

Tounon: Yeah.... that was pretty bad.

Me: You people are talking about things that have never happened! Stop it!

Tesmir: The author's head will asplode.

Chayn: [Rises up on her back legs, using her wings to lift herself upright. Then opens her mouth a pours poison downward]

Cassie: Oh, I see. Like this. [Darts forward and gives Hetsila a squeezy hug]

Aris: [Eyes wide, absent-midnedly pulling grass and twisting them]

Rune: Mordir hasn't said much.

Me: He's angry.

Rune: Well, I know that. But why hasn't he at last said anything?

Me: He's angry.

Rune: Nevermind.

Amos: *gives a small smile to Seymour then turns to Aelynna and smiles a little more*

Tanner: Aight, cool. Got anything planned?

Me: That's a lot of Ts.

Kaida: *also sneaks off into the woods to find something dangerous to do*

Skylar: Ahh! *jumps out of the way* Someone needs to sit on her nose!

Aelynn: [Smiles and loks around] Come on, let's meet more new people! [Leads Amos off in another direction, toward Niarah] I think... you're Niarah, right? AMos, this is Niarah. Niarah, Amos.

Seymour: [Smiles, watching Aelynn]

Rune: She barely knows these people herself, and she's going around introducing others to them. Does she normally do that in your city, Seymour?

Seymour: [No reply]

Rune: Seymour?

Seymour: [Still no reply]

Tesmir: Not yet, probably sometihng stupid and dangerous. Those kind of things are always fun. Oh I got it!

Tounon: What?

Tesmir: [Points to the rafters] We'll jump on Merashath!

Tounon: Now that's going beyond stupid and dangerous. That's suicide!

Tesmir: Oh come on, where's your sense of adventure?

Tounon: It got beaten down by common sense, thank you.

Tesmir: You're no fun. Tanner, you in?

Me:

Rune: Seymour!

Seymour: [Starts] What? What's wrong?

Rune: I've been trying to talk to you for a while now!

Seymour: Oh, sorry...

Corelle: [Raises an eyebrow, but says nothing]

Rodash: *raises his sword to defend*

Rinifer: *drops to the rafter bellow before Devon can get to him*

Niarah - (pricks her ears forward) Hi, how's it going?

Sylvia - Fond memories, Seymour?

Ember - That's the spirit! C'mon, keep up with me! Hang on Guilo! (Weaves through the rafters, then dives down low, swoops upwards again, and loops around behind Merashath, breathing a long tongue of fire) Howzat?

Silver - I don't even know what to think . . .

Ashrai - (Flings a poison coated knife at Mordir, then vanishes again)

Thysal - (Stands up) Chayn, want help?

Me - I think she can handle it . . .

Thysal - Jay, let me know when you feel like doing something dangerous . . . (shifts restlessly)

Niarah - Uh-oh.

Devon: *waits*

Alexis: Who was it that someone said needed to be killed? I think Rinifer said it...
Me: Lexi....
Alexis: *innocent look*

Zurik: [Slips his sword under Rodash's and thrusts]

Me: I should acquire more sword fighting terms. :/

Aelynn: [Smiles] I'm introducing Amos to people. He looked lonely.

Seymour: [Zoned out again]

Rune: Seymour!

Seymour: What?!

Rune: [Motions to Sylvia]

Seymour: Oh. Yes, in a way. [Smiles to himself]

Me: Never knew Seymour could get daydreamy.... Eww, that sounded weird, never mind.

Mordir: [Snarls and whisp around, the dagger whizzes by] You hide in the dark like a coward! Face me!

Me: Rune, if I start strangling the boy, stop me.

Rune: Uh, yes ma'am. [Looks worried]

Chayn: [Rumbles with amusement] Not yet.

Me: Where are the twins?

Tynx: [Explodes into laughter]

Me: [Glares him into silence] Seriously, I'm a horrible author, I can't keep track of my characters!

Tynx: They'll be fine. They can take care of themselves. Bring someone new in, I'm bored.

Me: Uh, why?

Tynx: 'Cause. Fallen surrendered in our fight.

Me: You're weird.

Tynx: Thank you. I like being weird. I'll go find someone. A Schinaam, maybe.

Me: They're not quite fantasy. More Sci-fi.

Tynx: You have no Sci-fi name, thus, I bring Schinaam here.

Me: FIne, but don't blame me if they freak out.

Tanner: That's why I'm an athlete. *follows Tesmir to the rafters*

Me: Where are the rafters from anyway? I thought we were outside.

Adish: *pokes out form behind a tree* So did I.

Guilo: Yeaah Man! Woooooo!

Me: Glad to see the kid's having a good time, he doesn't get out much.

Amos: Um, hi, Niarah... Okay I guess.

Erronys: *sits on his haunches and looks for something to do*

Malcolm: *slithers over to the river and sticks his head in for a long drink*

Lyna: *gets twitchy looking for something to do*

Levi: *crawls onto the bank, yawns and begins to bask*

Victor: *slaps the water with his head again and dives to the bottom of the river*

Melany: *walks over to Levi and stretches out on his back to doze too*

Me: *takes my splatitis cupcake*

Niarah - Enjoying yourself, Amos? I see Aelynn has taken you under her wing. (Glances at Seymour) Wonder what's with him.

Ember - Splatitus? Sounds like some form of disease. (Soars into the rafters, waiting for Merashath) I'm loving this!

Me - Umm . . . Yes, we're outside with a river and trees, but there's also dark corners (see the sides?), and there are rafters and support poles on one part of the sky. Y'know, if I could draw architecture, I've got a great mental image of this place.

Sylvia - (watches Seymour and grins) Ahh, I see. I think I get it.

Ryan - See what?

Sylvia - Nothing. (Wanders over by Levi and sits by his head, rubbing his nose) You crocodiles are pretty laid back, aren't you?

Ryan - I think I missed something . . . (Walks to the river and swims towards Silver, climbing on her back) I've got an idea! Who wants to have a water race? Find some sort of swimming mount, and we can see who travels downriver the fastest!

Silver - (Swims upriver) Who else is in?

Ashrai - Mordir, if you wish to be rid of my threat, then act like an assassin and hunt the darkness to find me! (Steps out of the shadows and prowls across a rafter) Or I could just make life easier for you by presenting a target right here.

Me - . . . He's weird.

Niarah - What's that say about you?

Me - Aris, if I could borrow a dictionary . . .

Niarah - NO! No, we're good.

Thysal - Alexis, who are you planning on killing, if I may be so bold to ask?

Me: *giggles at Seymour*

Emuna: You're insane.

Me: No, I'm hyper. Different.

Fallen: I didn't surrender. My author got lost and didn't know what was happening anymore. She's the one who gave up, not me.

Skylar: (@Chayn) Oh. (@Pirzak and Raczr) Watch her for a moment. I'll be right back. Promise. (@the other villains) *whispers* Anybody have some rope I can borrow?

Alexis: (@Thysal) I'm not sure. Someone...I think it was Rinifer....said someone needed to be killed, and my author is too lazy to go back a few pages and find out who.
Me: Hey!

Tesmir: [Begins to climb the rafters] C'mon, Tou! Don't be a spoilsport!

Tounon: [Hesitates, then sighs and follows Tanner and Tesmir]

Suragore: [Explodes out of the water, latching onto Malcolm's snout]

Aelynn: [Looks at Seymour] I don't know. He's not usually like that. Normally, he's very attentive. But this...

Seymour: [Tries to recover himself] Just a moment of simple memories, is all. I'm fine.

Rune: [Doesn't look convinced]

Tynx: [To Fallen] Oh. So... you've indirectly surrendered.

Me: Are you trying to get yourself killed? She nearly killed you ealier.

Tynx: I had it under control.

Me: Lie.

Tynx: OK fine, maybe that's a lie. But still. [To Ryan] I'll race!

Mordir: [Eyes flash with anger and climbs up the rafters, staying light on his feet.] FIne, if you want assassination, you'll get it.

Me: [Smiles at Bethy's laughter]

Seymour: What's so funny?

Me: Nothin'.

Chayn: [Watches Skylar leave for a moment, then looks back at Pirzak and Raczr. She flexes her claws and falls back on all fours, her front talons coming down on the two villains]

Me: [Drops an armload of dictionaries by Ciela] There you go.

Rune: The funny thing is, she doesn't technically own a single dictionary.

Rowen: You should really find Mark, Aris.

Me: I know, I keep forgetting about him.

Cassie: I can look for him!

Me: You have your lessons to do. I'll find him. I don't want anybody else disappearing while I'm gone.

Amos: I guess she has. Yes, it's rather calm here.

Levi: All crocodiles are rather laid back, they just don't like others to know it. We're quite used to people so we're quite at ease. Although Victor is still rather head strong.

Victor: *surfaces* Why downstream? A crocodile swims upstream all his life!

Me: I will warn you Silver, these reptiles were raised in the water. They know they're element very well. @Ember It's supposed to sound like a disease.

Guilo: Spend much time in the water Ember? Let's see if wing can topple fin and tail!

Kaida: *steps out of the shadow behind Ashrai* Who don't you want sneaking up on you?

Tanner: *climbs quickly into the rafters*

Malcolm: *in a startled state, he gets water up his nose and sneezes*

BOOM!

Me: That's where you get the phrase "something to sneeze at".

Mordir: I'm still here.

Me: He's going to try fighting Ashrai. He's angry.

Rune: [Shakes in head]

Me: Well, how would you describe him?

Tesmir: Insane, raving mad, recklessly stupid. All the traits of a villain. [Gets a book thrown at him, and he almost loses his balance.] I was kidding!

Me: Wasn't me!

Mordir: [Glares at Tesmir before turning to hunt out Ashrai]

Tesmir: Why that little-

Tounon: Chill, we're not here to pick a fight with him.

Suragore: [Blinks in surprise, but hold on]

Me: Wait, was that an explosion?

Me: Yes, the chemicals that give a wyvern it's fire breathe are more potent than most.

Fallen: *contemplates throttling Tynx* There was no "surrendering" involved at all.

Me: Don't let it bother you. A thick skin is a good thing to have.

Dai: Says the--

Me: Watch it. No insulting the author.

Dai: But you are thin-skinned.

Me: Aaaaanyway. Going to bring in a new character and see if this goes any better...meet Alaric, everyone. He's one of my perfectly ordinary humans.

Alaric: Thanks.

Me: I mean that in a "human without any special powers" way, not in a "perfectly boring with nothing to set him apart" way.

Me: *is very behind, not just in CI but with all of HW*

Rinifer: I probably said someone needed killing...I don't remember who though...

Rodash: *twirls to the side and flicks his blade up into guard position*

Me: In an attempt to get a better reign on things, I'm cleaning out my characters. I'm taking out Merashath, for now anyways. Pardon anybody who was dueling with him. Trina is also out, so we're left with Rodash, Rinifer, and Cuoash. And pardon me, I'm lost in Rinifer's duel...

Me: *goes back a couple pages and finds out that it was Otmuh* Is Otmuh still here? Devon is currently waiting for Rinifer to make a move.

Ashrai - (Watches Mordir) How aquainted are you with martial arts?

Me - . . . why?

Just thought I'd ask. (Draws a long, curved knife and waits)

Ember - (Perches on a rafter) Drat. There goes Merashath. Well, we might as well beat the other reptiles in a water race, eh Guilo?

Silver - Y'know, I thought it'd be easier on you guys to swim downstream, but whatever works.

Thysal - (Stares at Malcolm, astonished) Wow . . . What a sneeze!

Ryan - You sure that wasn't him blowing up?

Sylvia - (Waves at Alaric) Hi! Good to know I'm not the only normal human anymore . . . there might be others, but I haven't seen them lately.

Me - Everyone has become simply a name. I honestly can't picture anyone anymore.

Alaric: *grins* I did get the impression most people here can't be called "normal"...

Me: I can describe Alaric if you'd like, Ciela. I have no idea of what anyone else's characters look like, so it didn't occur to me to describe him when I brought him in.

Suragore: [Blinks and shudders, but still hold on] God bless you.

Me: Suragore'll try the race. Once he lets go of Malcolm.

Rowen: Elbas should try.

Me: You want everyone electrocuted?

Rowen: [Laughs]

Tynx: No? I was perfectly fine with battling you, thanks to Cuoash for helping me out, though. . I was just momentarily distracted by Merashath. But when I turned about, you were gone. If it wasn't surrender, was it quitting?

Me: [Slams head against tree]

Seymour: [Winces] You really need to stop doing that.

Cassie: [Jumps up and down wildly] I'm a normal human!

Zurik: [Growls and follows Rodash, but springs sideways and cuts down Rodash's shoulder]

Me: No idea if that works or not.

Tesmir: OooK, no Merashath to jump on. [Glances at Mordir] Should we join Ashrai?

Mordir: Stay out of it! [Turns back to Ashrai] Not very, but I can do it if you like.

Me: Haha. You're relying on my skils of martial arts?

Tesmir: You should know some stuff, shouldn't you?

Me: A bit... maybe. Kind of.

Tounon: I wonder how well she would get along with her characters if they came to life.

Me: Hmm, I would absolutely go nust over Seymour, you two would be a lot of fun. Tynx would be, too. Mordir....

Mordir: I would think we'd drive each other nuts. If your father didn't drive me out of the house first.

Me: Yeah, there's that. The dragons would be a problem.

Chayn: [Snorts indignantly] I am not a problem causing dragon.

Me: Maybe not, but I couldn't hide you very well.

Chayn: Take lessons from the Eragon boy.

Me: Be an egg first, then hatch. I'll have an easier time hiding a small dragon than a near-full-grown one.

Guilo: Sounds like a plan! I vote downstream.

Lyna: *dives onto Victor's head* Dibs!

Victor: *tosses her into the water as soon as she lands on his head and chuckles*

Lyna: *surfaces and punches Victor then climbs on his back*

Malcolm: A creature with such a reputation as yours asks God's blessing upon me? How fascinating. *ignores the fact that Suragore is still on his nose and wanders away from the river*

Tanner: Well, Merashath is gone, what now guys?

Silver - Y'know, Malcolm, if you ever go in for some form of nose ornament, the snake looks really good on you.

Ember - (Lands in the river) Where's the starting point?

Silver - (Swims higher up, then turns, facing downstream) Right here.

Ryan - Line up! Allow Silver and I to show you the meaning of speed.

Sylvia - Haha, I think it's normal to be abnormal here, and us normal ones are simply unique now. Oh, that one is my dragon, right there. Guilo is riding him, though. (Points to Ember)

Me - A brief description would be great.

Ashrai - I'm bored of waiting. Heads up! (Springs at Mordir, claws outstretched)

Niarah - One of you two are going to end up falling . . .

Ashrai - Cats always land on their feet.

Niarah - Right. Never worked for me.

Rowen: [Lands in the water with a splash and frantic flapping to remain upright] Count me in!

Me: Sheesh, the dragon barely knows how to land right.

Suragore: [Snarls and yanks Malcolm back, shaking his head viciously] 'Tis the polite thing to do for a fellow reptile.

Mordir: [Whirls about and thrusts his sword at Ashrai's chest]

Me: Oooohhh, I just found a really name when I misspelled Ashrai's name... Sharai....

Chayn: Our author's an odd one.

Tesmir: Hmmm. We hitchhike on a racing dragon.

Tounon: They're all taken, I think.

Tesmir: Oh, I've got it! We'll hold on to their tails while they race! Can you imagine the speed and air time we'd get?!

Me: You're not even supposed to know what that means.

Tounon: He's Tesmir. He's not supposed to know a lot of things.

Tanner: Ya know, we probably won't get much air time because they are in fact racing in the water.

Malcolm: *stares down his nose at the snake biting him* You have an increasingly odd idea of polite. *snorts flames* Oh, and Tesmir, not all the dragons are taken.

Erronys: *looks around for a rider, sees Sylvia, cocks his head*

Me: *changes Adish's name to Brand* It's based on where he lives...

Brand: *looks at Kaida* I shall represent you well Lady. *runs down her shoulder and to the river*

Fallen: *clenches her fists and starts walking toward Tynx* No. I had no choice in what happened.

Alaric: *smiles at Cassie* So, there are a few of us at least. (@Sylvia) You have a dragon?

Me: Alaric's maybe not quite six feet tall but not that far from it. He has dark hair, light skin (although it's quite tan by now), and gray eyes. He's about seventeen.

Me: Sorry, I didn't realize Merashath was battling with so many.

Rinifer: I wonder where my sword is...did I ever get it back?

Me: Hey, now you stay fair, hear?

Rinifer: He has a switchblade. I won't put it past him using it when I least expect.

Me: If he uses his switchblade, you can have your sword.

Rinifer: Fine. *looks straight at Devon, and deals a punch aimed right for his nose*

Cuoash: *eyes widen as Fallen approaches again.* Tynx! Be ready...

Rodash: *raises his sword in an attempt to protect, but it gets wounded deeply* Argh! *sinks to one knee, but remains attentive. He bites his lower lip to deal with the pain*

Devon: It's not a switchblade. It's only a pocketknife. *scowls* My switchblade disappeared. *glares at Brian* *easily blocks the punch, twisting Rinifer's arm* *sweeps him with his leg*

Alexis: *looking for Otmuh*

Skylar: *still searching for a rope*

Brian: Why is he glaring at me? It was self defense.

Me: You sound like Gavin.

Brian: You should get more sleep so I don't sound like Gavin.

Tesmir: If they go fast enough, we might.

Tounon: Or, if we slam into a boulder in the river, then we might get a lot of air time, and bruises, broken bones, possibly death-

Tesmir: If you don't want to have fun, Tou, you can just watch.

Suragore: [Growls and yanks Malcolm back toward the water] What do you wish me to say? Gazuntite?

Me: Wow, I got that word right first try...

Tesmir: They're not?

Tynx: Oh, I'm sure you didn't. No character has. But, you could have protested, thus perhaps persuading Leandra of letting you continue. But since you didn't, it seems that you wanted to quit.

Me: Tynx, You are an adorable character. Don't kill yourself. o.O

Tynx: I'll be fine. [Flashes a smile at Cuoash] Just having some fun. I'll be careful.

Zurik: [Smiles evilly] I expected better. [Drives his sword forward into Rodash]

Cassie: NO! [Throws a rock at Zurik] Leave him alone!

Zurik: [Whips around, glaring. his sword slicing along Roadash as he moves] Why you little-

Me: Cassie, dearest, you're busy with lessons-

Cassie: Hetsila's not here right now. I can go back when she comes back.

Me: You have no sword, child!

Cassie: [Hold up her wooden sword] I can fight!

Zurik: I'll deal with you later, boy. [Walks toward Cassie] You won't have anyone to rescue you this time, little girl.

Cassie: [Glares at Zurik, not blinking, and holds her wooden sword like Kimun taught her] Come on, then!

Me: Oh dear...

Fallen: *twitches her hands* *rope of darkness wraps around Tynx's neck, picks him up in the air, and throws him across the room*
