Tynx: [Rolls sideways and smoothly gets back on his feet] Sounds like you can certainly keep yourself occupied. [Opens his mouth, but stops, and nearly chokes on his own attack] Gardening? [Glows again, shifting into the form of a gorilla] Never been one of these before...

Mordir: Villains can't spend all their time being ruthless.

Me: So what do you do?

Mordir: No idea. You haven't ever come up with something. [Sees Ember readying an attack] H-hold on, now! I've been behaving myself, aye? So we don't need to blow anyone up yet, right?

Me: I'm beginning to detect a bit of a coward in you.

Mordir: I am no coward... You would be saying the same things if you were trapped under a dragon whose goal in mind is to kill you.

Me: .... yeah, probably.

Mordir: Figured.

Suragore: [Roars in frustration but then turns to Ryan, snapping at his arm]

Rowen: [Claws at a wing, but gets beaten back]

Tesmir: Sorry. I guess I'm just used to Allare's Dragon Keepers.

Chayn: Even so, dragons aren't technically property of you humans.

Tesmir: OK, OK. But that's cool that that kind of dragon can be attracted by fire like that.

Cassie: Oh, I didn't think of that. I had thought about being up close, but then I figured he'd be able to hit you over the head with the end of his sword. [Subconsciously rubs her head] That would hurt.

Skylar: *climbs onto a rafter above Jek* *drops down in front of him, landing lightly on the rafter* *grins around the object in his mouth* Hello! *pushes Jek off the rafter*

Fallen: *shoots five thin beams of light at Niarah, spacing them out so it will be difficult for her to dodge them all* (@Tynx): Yes, gardening. I like flowers. Is there a problem with that? *flicks her hand up, sending a wide wave of light at him*

Cassie: Oh... Would he be able to grab me, and then kill me? But then, I'd be close enough to get at him if I had a short enough blade...

Tynx: [Just barely dodges, but his back leg gets hit, knocking him off balance] Oh, no. There's nothing wrong with it. I didn't expect that answer from a villain.

Mordir: We do have personal lives, just to let you know.

Me: You should stop talking, it's gonna get you in trouble.

Mordir: [Motions to Ember] I'm already in trouble.

Jek: [Jumps in surprise] Greetings. [Grabs Skylar's arm as he's pushed] If I'm going down, so are you. [Vines twist their way up to Raczr]

Merashath: @Silver: My lung capacity is much larger than any humans. If you flooded this place I could drown Emuna and escape unscathed. *fingers the locket* Pure gold, you say...

Elanhil: *blocks the first blow, and attempts to dodge the second, but takes a full cut to the shoulder* Agh! *reals back, clutching his left shoulder with his arm, sword still in hand*

Me: Yay! You broke the guard!

Rinifer: What was I doing?

Me: I don't remember... you stand there by Trina and wait 'till somebody remembers.

Cuoash: Don't touch that Locket! *runs up behind Merashath and puts her hands up, as if being arrested or held up, and a large sheet of ice cuts through the air, little ice crystals branching off here in there, the whole area around it blue from the cold. The sheet impacts Merashath.*

Merashath: *He screeches, stumbling. He tears the locket off it's chain and takes to the skies, clutching it in his hand. He then swoops back down, (after Cuoash stopped) and tackles...whoever it was that was on Mordir... *

Me: So he left Emuna on the ground right? Because if he did then this post will be valid; if not then label it invalid and I can try again later.

Brian: Indeed solid gold.

Me: *shakes head* You're insane...

Brian: Better insane than dead. *watches as Mordir tackles Ember* Greed...works every time. *runs up to Emuna and carefully checks her cut* Emuna...you can wake up now.

Emuna: *slowly wakes up* Brian? Where's my necklace?

Brian: *grins* With someone who can keep it "safe".

Emuna: Mm...I don't like this idea.

Tounon: [Slams his blade into Elanhil's close to the hilt, to hopefully knock it from him, then slices at Elanhil's chest]

Me: Yay! At last!

Tounon: [Doesn't say anything, but his expression is obviously a pleased one]

Mordir: [Stiffens as Merashath swoops down]

Me: I think Rinifer and Zurik were fighting, but I don't remember whose turn it was or who did what.

Rinifer: Oh...they could re-engage...

Cuoash: *runs up to Emuna* Are you hurt?

Merashath: *breathes a burst of flames before tackling*

Elanhil: *Winces when Tounon's blade slams into his own, but reaches his hurt arm down below Tounon's sword and grabs his wrist, enough to stop the next attack. He then twists around so he is behind Tounon, where he lifts the tip of his sword to the guard* (remember: Elanhil's sword hand was holding his shoulder...)

Emuna: (@Cuoash) A little... *touches cut on her neck and winces*

Brian: Let me see... *looks at cut* That...could need some tending to.

Emuna: Mm-hmm... But at least I am not dying slowly. *chuckles*

Brian: What? It was a good idea!

Emuna: I wouldn't disagree with that... *turns slightly to watch Merashath*

*the locket begins to glow a very bright white and a round orb slowly incircles it; growing in size very quickly* *a large flash of light covers Merashath, making it impossible to see him* *necklace disappears along with Merasthath* *Merashath appears across the room or whatever would be furthest away from Ember and Mordir*

Emuna: *locket reappears on her neck* You ever wonder if our author has too much fun with such frivolous things?

Brian: *shrugs*

Me:

Fallen: *fires three beams of light in quick succession at Tynx* I need something to do in my spare time and I like gardening better than knitting.


Me: Ark and Dai...I have no idea of what the two of you are doing.

Ark: Neither do we.

Dai: I'm staying away from all the magic fights. Not going to be of much use in those...

Me - Gone from CI for several hours, and look what happens, it explodes again. Oh, and Ember was on Mordir.

Ember - (Roars as Merashath slams into him, falling beneath him)

Sylvia - (Dives out of the way) Mordir's still down there!

Ember - (Snaps up at Merashath's neck) Tell him that!

Niarah - (Leaps and dodges, but is hit by one of the light rays) Whoa, hey, what was that?

Ashrai - (Ears prick forward in interest)

Silver - (Whirls and slams into Ryan, knocking him out of the Suragore's way, but gets bit) Fantastic. (Hits the Suragore with her tail) Now what?

Ryan - Silver!

Alexis: *is relieved* *wishes she could go to Emuna* *is delighted when she sees what the locket does* *keeps her hold tight on Pirzak*

Skylar: *grabs Jek around the waist as they fall, endeavoring to position himself on top*

Fallen: (@Niarah) Your comments were growing tiresome.

Me: "It explodeth again." "And then I'll be gone again for my sister's birthday..."

Shawn: "Explodeth?"

Pirzak: *scowls*

Raczr: *jumps at Jek, putting his sword to his neck*

Jay: *tries to sit up* *goes pale* "Wrong move."

Shawn: "Your ribs?"

Jay: "Yeah."

Me: "They're badly bruised. not broken."

Jay:

Shawn: *bandages his side*

Alexis: *low chuckle* Got your hopes up, did you, Pirzak?

Rowen: Seymour! We need flower's blood over here!

Seymour: [Looks their way, then jumps over Ember and Merashath and runs the rest of the way to the other dragons] Rowen, Ryan, keep that Suragore occupied.

Rowen: That's what we've been doing for the past few pages. [Swipes it the creature's neck, drawing its attention away from SIlver]

Seymour: This will sting, but it's a sign it's working. [Pours a red, watery-milky looking liquid over the bite wound, which eventually washes the dark marks around the wounds, drawing out the poison] Lie still for a moment, and you'll be as good as new. Just be careful, all of you.

Suragore: [Roars and slams its tail into Rowen's side, struggling to get up into the air]

Mordir: [Tenses as Merashath and Ember collide]

Me: Is he under them both?

Tynx: So, what do you garden? [Dodges one, but gets hit partially by the second and completely by the third] OK, gorilla is not working. [Shifts again, back into his fox form]

Tounon: Ack, no! [Spins around, bring his blade down on Elanhil's in a rather alarmed attempt and then slashes at his shoulder]

Me: Argh I knew I was gonna screw that up! I didn't know his sword arm was gripping his shoulder.

Tounon: Obviously.

Corelle: [Touches Brian's shoulder lightly as she passes him to kneel down by Emuna] Where are you hurt, dear heart?

Jek: [Struggles to rolls himself out from under Skylar. Vines burst out from the rafters and create a net, catching Skylar, Raczr, and Jek] This should be- [Stops, feeling Raczr's sword at his neck. His eyes flash, but he doesn't move.]

Cassie: Yes, but what happen if he grabs me while I'm so close? I would probably have time to eliminate him, but what could I do to keep from getting grabbed, or something?

Fallen: I have a few small flower gardens and I've been trying to get an herb garden started when I have time. The cooks have no sense about how food should taste. *sends a few more beams of light at Tynx*

Me: Can I just say, I find it hilarious that Fallen and Tynx are having a rather civil conversation while fighting?

Brian: *looks at Corelle* *smiles*

Emuna: My neck...he dug his claw into my jaw and scraped it across my neck... *shudders and rests head on Brian's shoulder being sure that Corelle can see the cut still*

Tynx: Cool. I'm sure the cooks would enjoy the herbs, or do you use them for your own cooking? [Somersaults in the air over the beams, and races up to Fallen and bites her ankle]

Me: It is. They talk as if there's nothing else to do.

Tynx: Well, it's always important to know who you're up against.

Corelle: Alright, dear. just hold still and we'll get it cleaned and bandaged. I'm impressed that you haven't passed out yet. There are many soldiers I've tended to who would have. Prince Seymour is probably among them.

Seymour: Hardly.

Corelle: [Whispers] Don't listen to him. He's not one for admitting when he's hurt. [Gently washes away the blood] He got you good, that's for sure. How far did he cut you?

Cassie: Oh... So that way, he would have his hands busy, and mine would probably be free to attack. Is grappling basically fighting hand-to-hand?

But if the one leg comes around it has to pass his head, when he grabs it.

Skooter: What is going on?? *scampers around frantically*

Melany: Don't worry about it buddy, we'll catch up after next week.

Tanner: Why? What's next week?

Aren: Author, you haven't posted the thread yet?

Me: Oh, right. *leaves for now starting with writing a sign out thread*

Fallen: *hisses and slams a large ball of light into Tynx's head* My own, of course. It's the only way I can get anything decent to eat.

Then he bends his leg at the knee, hooking his heel into the pit of Griffin's elbow, and swings it across anyway.



"Bëduuín is grappling Griffin right now. Kimun beat Seymour with grappling. Does that help you understand what it is like?"

Me: Far as in depth or far as in down her neck?...

Emuna: I think I passed out when he was holding me hostage... *takes deep breath* I-I don't know, though. *smiles* I don't know very many soldiers that would admit to pain. *glances at Brian*

Brian: I admit to it...sometimes...

Emuna: I'm not sure...he ran his claw up my neck and... *closes eyes*

Brian: Buried it in her jaw.

Skylar: Raczr, hold on. *tries to cut the vines under Jek*

Me - Alrighty . . . I'm removing Traxus, because he's neither a benefit or a hinderance in here . . .

(Traxus vanishes without a trace)

Me - And my current villain, Kuura'zan will be entering. Another feline; think panther, but solid white. He has a muscular build, blazing green eyes, and can be described as handsome.

Ashrai - Great.

Niarah - All we need is another villain here.

Me - Rahor might come back . . . We'll see. I'm definitely bringing in Sumira, she's a Sharthi like Kuura'zan, with ice-blue eyes. In a sentence, she is as cold and as beautiful as ice.

Sumira - (Blinks in astonishment as she glances around) What is this place?

Thysal - This is going to be a chilly place, author. All these ice creatures . . .

Kuura'zan - (Folds his paws over his chest and simply watches the goings on, his eyes cold and calculating, missing no detail)

Ashrai - Love how you brought in the vocal charries.

Me - (pokes Ashrai) Knock it off. Oh, and yes, Mordir is still beneath Ember and Merashath. Unless Merashath moved, then Ember would release him.

Ember - (Growls but says nothing)

Ryan - Hey, over here! (Slashes at the Suragore in an attempt to draw it away from Rowen)

Silver - (Steps away from the fight and lays down, her eyes watchful) Thank you, Seymour and Rowen. It does sting. A lot. How long does it take for the flower's blood to work?

Seymour: It shouldn't take long. It has to work fast, because Numm-Cordd poison sets in fast. Some of us should know.

Tesmir: Yeah...

Rune: We didn't know that he'd been poisoned until he collapsed. And even then, it was close.

Tesmir: [Twists behind her, still holding on, tries to speak around her ankle] So, what do you like to cook wis see herbs?

Me:

Corelle: Depth. [Smiles and pats Emuna's knee] True, there aren't many who admit to it. But I don't think I can scold for not admitting it, I wouldn't.

Seymour: And you'd fight anyone who thought otherwise.

Corelle: Oh, go off on your fighting, sir!

Aris: Where can I help?

Me: No idea. Jek seems to be having issues.

Jek: I'm fine. [Lashes out his sword arm at Skylar, and elbows Raczr in the face]

Me: Uh-huh. Two to one is fine.

Jek: I've dealt with worse.

Me: You've always had your twin. He probably needs a bit of development, too.

Chayn: [Swoops down and lands roughly near Shawn and Thysal] How's Jay?

Mordir: So, I'm being squashed between a dragon and a bat like creature?

Me: It'll be good for you.

Mordir: Define good.

Me: [Starts to get a dictionary.]

Mordir: OK, OK! Never mind!

Cassie: Oh, so it involves just fists and kicking. I can do that!

Me: Haha.

Cassie: What?

Me: Nothing.... where's Mark?

My characters: [Silence]

Me: He's gone and gotten himself killed, hasn't he?

Mordir: He probably ran off. The kid's rather jumpy.

Me: Depth, huh?....yah, I'm not sure...how big are Merashath's claws? And if he went too deep she would be dead by now since he could puncture some major-....you know, that's really a question for Caleb.

Emuna: *eyes grow wide* W-W-what?!

Brian: *glares at me*

Me: Hey! I stopped myself!

Brian: After you said she would be dead!

Me: *shrugs* It is what it is...my brain does not work as fast as my mouth. Get used to it and move along.

Brian: *sigh and shakes head* What are we going to do with you?

Me: *raises eyebrow* Who's the figment of my imagination here?

Emuna: *smiles* True, but it can get annoying...especially when they need to be resting.

Brian: I am fully recovered.

Emuna: Sure, you are...

Me: Was there a sword in Jek's hand that Skylar would have received a cut from, or are you just specifying which arm?

Jay: "I'm okay."

Shawn: "He'll be all right... eventually. Are you okay, Chayn?"

Raczr: *grabs Jek's elbow and leans him over* "Think this over."

Shawn: "Aris, do you have anything that will help Jay?"

Pirzak: *ignores Alexis' remark*

Me: *hates typos that result from being up early*

Pirzak: "Stay off the roads, she'll get her permi-"

Me: *drags out an enormous dictionary* "Look out, Alexis." *whacks Pirzak upside the head*

Me: [To Raven] He has a sword.

Jek: [Tries to jerk his arm away] I don't see much to think over.

Me: Goodness, and here I was thinking Hakor was the reckless one.

Cassie: Oh... so what do you use then?

Corelle: Hush, dear. You'll be alright.

Me: ???

Corelle: Don't say anything.

Me: I said nothing! I kept my mouth shut!

Aris: [Kneels down by Jay] I think I might have something that will help heal him. [Takes out a leather bottle] Drink. It's just water, but it's water from a lake in Allei, which has some kind of healing property to it.

Me: Ooh, you have your permit, Shawn?

Ruen: Can't say that much for you.

Me: [Scowls] I had one, it just... expired....

Tesmir: And, whose fault would that be?

Me: Mine. Do you both really have to be that way?

Mordir: I'm currently unavailable to hand out remarks.

Me: Whatever.

*had to skip a bunch* Help? What's happened? Actions repeat, please?

I reposted Tounon's action in my last post. And Corelle wants to know how deep Merashath cut Emuna's neck.

Me: Hehe, I'm wrong to find your confusion humorous, huh? *cough* Anyways, I don't know what happened with Elanhil's duel seeing as I wasn't following that one what so ever. But Merashath tackled Ember the necklace went BOOM! And he was transported across the room...if I recall correctly that's all that happened with your characters.

Gavin: Rant and a half...that didn't even make sense.

Me: *scowls* Oh well next time you can explain ten pages of CI and tell me how that works out, genius!

Gavin: Maybe I will!

Me: Maybe I'll let you!

Gavin: Maybe I'll do better than you!

Me: May-....seriously, I am not doing this with you.

Emuna: *takes breath* *smiles* Thanks, Corelle.

Fallen: *her ankle turns white-hot* Sometimes soup, sometimes a marinade for meat, and sometimes bread. It depends on what I feel like having and what's available.

Skylar: *leans back so that he only receives a small cut on his shoulder* *scowls* *catches Jek's wrist* *executes a wrist-lock to get Jek to drop the sword* *takes the sword* Thanks for giving me something easier to cut with. *resumes cutting the vines*

Me: "Procedure."

Shawn: "She couldn't because she didn't have an attendance form from the schoolboard."

Me: "I couldn't even test."

Pirzak: "Yeah, well she would've probably- I'll stop, I'll stop!"

Me: *glares*

Jay: *sips at it* "Thanks."

Shawn: *smiles at Chayn* "I'm glad."

Raczr: *rocks Jek towards the edge* "Maybe thinking isn't your strength here."

Me: *shakes head* "Villains."

Shawn: "And you were expecting them to act like...?"

Cassie: Oh... how would you do that?

Me: I'm getting the image of Kimun's winning move on Cory, but I don't think that's what leverage is.

Aris: [Smiles] You're welcome.

Chayn: [Nuzzles Shawn's shoulder affectionately]

Me: Attendance forms?

Tynx: Yow! [Lets go, breathing fast through his mouth] Those sounds yummy. Do you enjoy cooking? [Jumps up and grabs onto her hair]

Jek: [Growls] My strength is here. As you can see, it's all around us. [Vines twists their way from behind the trio, lashing out viciously as Jek tries to stand]

Jay: *slowly sits up, grimacing*

Shawn: *smiles and leans against Chayn*

Me: "Yeah... It's a requirement for the state I live in."

Merashath: *gets transported across the room...Shakes his head and opens his talon to see no necklace. It clenches to a fist and he glares at Brian.* You liar! *takes flight and breathes a ball of fire at Brian*

Me: It wasn't too deep, more of a threat...

Elanhil: *twirls around, keeping low to avoid the attacks and re-forms his guard behind Tounon*

*Trina and Rinifer still without anything to do*

Trina: Well I'm not going to be idle. *swings into the rafters, using the vines to help*

Rinifer: *watches her leave, and feels even more useless*

Brian: *creates circular force field around himself and Emuna* Get through that, Merashath! I'll give you a hint...it's not possible.

Me: Why do you like to taunt the villains, Brian?

Brian: *shrugs*

Me: *head/desk*

Skylar: (@Jek) It might not be a good idea to stand up right now. *finishes cutting* *the vines under Jek give way* *hangs onto the side of the net so he doesn't fall*
