Me: so what were the creatures in the post above me?

Tanner: *knocks the claw to the side with a hand block.*

Azriel: *proudly* No. I'm not ticklish. *chases after Jay* AHAHAHAHAHA! But he is! *holds Jay down tickling him*

Elanhil: Sword, Chase? Let's have Griffin in as well.

Merashath: *Rolls in the dirt, trying to smush Raedon*

Hadwin. *firmly plants his feet.* I'm ready Philip. What kind of magic do you use?

Me: so are tickle duels going to become a thing now? that would be slightly amusing....

Raedon: *jumps clear, shifting as he does so, shapes a lion and jumps on Merashath before he can get up, aiming for his throat*

Jathan: Raedon's fighting tactics are improving.

Telvia: Merashath just doesn't give up... he's strong...

Me: Great. My FMC is admiring a villain.

Merashath: *shifts over to the side and head-buts Raedon as he flies past.*

Trina: Are there any other slaves here? It would be interesting to talk to another slave that lives in a different world.

Raedon: *hits the ground, changes shape again, and comes back to his feet as a human*

Seymour: I agree. [Brings his staff down to block]

Cassie: I wanna dance!

Me: No. You have no weapon or magic. You stay put and have fun with friends. Where did Tynx go again?

Cory: You lose him a lot, don't you?

Me: That does tend to happen, doesn't it?

Griffin: Let's get started then. (stands with the sword in both hands in front of him) Chase, I just wanted to let you know I'm not gonna hold back cause of some newbie. If you want to pull out that's fine, I won't hold you any lower in my esteem.

Tesra: That's mean! Calling him names!

Phillip: It's rather hard to explain. There's a better explanation in buried somewhere in 'Magic' under Melcorats. But basically I'm able to use things around to either create new substances. For example, I could sap water vapor out of the air and turn it into liquid water. I can also change the shape of something as long as it keeps the same volume, but that's it. So I can also run out of things to use, theoretically, although some things, such as sunlight, for example, are not going to be exhausted until their source is destroyed.

Tesra: Excuse him, he's rather long-winded.

Shawn: Well! *stomps over to Iri* You leave Jay alone, you got that?

Niarah - (Steps back, panting) I'm ready to call a truce when you are. But if you wish to keep going, I'm still game.

Niarah - Seymour is an honorable opponant, Ashrai. I could say less for some felines I know.

Ashrai - *smiles impassively*

Tanner: I feel you Sabre, being a mere human isn't always that fun, it's hard to control a lot that happens to you.

Pernoxnix: I've never met a mere human... they're supernatural creatures yet they give that credit to naturals such as myself and my fellow creatures.

Hadwin: *Strokes chin* I remember reading that somewhere.

Me: How? When I read it you weren't even thought of yet.

Hadwin: I found an archive in your brain. --Actually, the magic in Menbie is similar. There are three kinds. One, which is matter. Wizlings can normally only control light, concentrating it or magnifying it, taking it from wherever, sometimes finding it in dark places. More advanced wizlings can change the structure of molecules in the air, creating force fields etc. Elanhil is one such wizling. The other two kinds of magic have to do with mind and spirit, but I won't use those in order to be fair.

Merashath: You may be wasting your time. *Tackles Raedon, and bites him.*

Me: Only a sinless being can defeat him. He can be momentarily be chased away by something perfect yielded by an imperfect being, like the light of heaven. If only you had used that a little bit longer.

Merashath: *glares at me*

Elanhil: *Raises tip of his sword, and then moves back in a defensive stance.*

Jathan: when? This is dragged out long enough, why don't you just call him back? Like Elanhil said, you're wasting your time.

Me: *snaps* what do you know about anything?

Jathan: I'm trying to act wise and mature.

Me: *calms down* Oh.

Me: *still can't remember who my dancing character is. Is annoyed at such lack of memory. Wants to bring in Morgon, but daren't open that book lest my Nanowrimo novel suffer.*

Merashath: *rolls over, still biting, but flings the blaster through the barriers into another post*

Merashath: Oh, yeah. *Returns to ripping out Raedon's organs*

Me: Sorry, gory detail.

Jathan: Aren't you going to do something?

Me: Why are you looking at me? It's Raedon's duel.

Jathan: Um....

Me: Look, he's got a choice. Yield, or wear himself out.

Jathan: Okay. Whatever.

Me: Oh, Lady E. I almost forgot. Lord of the Dance is cool!! But what I was talking about was the Lord of the Dance Fanfic. It is awesome. Long complex story about it though, and it's not online any more.

Me: @Lady E. You are cool for knowing. And you'd love the fanfic. *goes back to scheming about it...*

Me: I don't want to. I want to work on Last Wizard. Playing in here is a form of compromise. Doing neither.

Tanner: I know it's the weirdest thing... I graduated last year... Never saw that coming.

Me: Raedon's always where you least expect him.

Jathan: Authoress, what he's asking is...

Me: I'm done with you guys. Shoo, out. I lost the battle not to look at my other book during Nanowrimo, and so... I'm working on that.

*they leave, waving and protesting*

Elanhil: *doesn't wait for Griffin to announce his readiness, one is always ready in this forum. He slashes from his left (chase) up to his right, (Griffin) and positions his sword in a defensive position against Griffin.*

Tanner: don't worry people, so far it's just me and the lizard here too.

Pernoxnix: there are of course many others but we have yet to reach them.

Zanya - Fine, I'll leave him alone. (eyes Eruwaedhiel) Don't want to get on anyone's bad side, especially not an author's.

Me - Wise move, Zanya.

Thysal - (tosses her head) Dragons are never overconfident. We always win, so why be cautious? I mean, seriously.

Rahor - *cough cough* Sure.

Niarah - (bows to Seymour) If you consent, I believe we should call it a tie and be done. You're an excellent warrior, my friend.

Rahor - That civility wasn't present beforehand.

Me - It's amazing what duelling does to someone.

Rahor - Oh please.

Me - I volunteer Rahor if anyone wants to duel!

Me:@Thysal: I wouldn't be too sure of yourself. I personally am acquainted with several dragons who've been soundly beaten in a fair fight.

Jathan: Interesting, usually the authors let the characters talk to each other. I've never seen an author directly address someone else's character...

Me: You shut up.

Jathan: Have you found Raedon yet?

Me:

Merashath: Raedon, if you don't show up in ten seconds I'm the winner.

Phillip: So are you accepting my challenge, Hadwin?

Griffin: (parries easily, feints a slash at Chase's lefts side, but brings his sword back and around to Elanhil's right shoulder)

Tesra: Does no one else do archery!?!?

Ravork: I accept Rahor's challenge!

Me: Rahor wasn't even the one to throw him out there! His author made him!

Ravork: So?

Chase: [Side-steps, ducking, and bringing his sword up to slide Elanhil's away. Then tenses and prepares to block Griffin's, but relaxes] Three-way dueling should be fun. [Steps quietly behind Griffin and slashes downward from behind]

Me: That was tricky.

Chase: Hey, three-way dueling. Your back is turned, you take the chances.

Timothy: Chase.

Chase: I'm not cheating. Promise.

Chayn: Yeah. We have wings. Arrows hardly dent a scale, and we have fire. Well, I have poison.

Seynmour: [Bows low at the waist] It was an honor to duel a fine swordslady as yourself. I was truly pushed to my limits.

Me:

Ponkin: Hi! What's your name? I like this place. Do you like nuts? I do. Especially almonds. But peanut nuts are too chewy.

Thysal - (predictably sniffs the squirrel) Do nuts contain caffeine?

Zanya - @Ponkin; Oh, you are so adorable!

Sabre - Girls.

Rahor - (glares at Me) I guess I have no choice then. Ravork, if you are ready, you may take the first strike. I can promise you that you'll regret wearing that feline skin.

Niarah - (leaning casually on her staff) Good luck, Rahor. Fight well, Ravork.

Rahor - (Draws his longsword, and takes up a battle stance) On guard!

Ashrai - Here we go.

Merashath: 10....

Elanhil: *beats Griffins sword down, trying to keep him engaged so Chase can work his magic.*

Hadwin: Yes. I accept.

Tanner: *watches duels* Does anyone have a Mountain Dew?
