Me: You and Ioanna are not normal by any stretch of the imagination.

Rhain ducks just in time, and the yellow ball goes sailing over his head, and towards Anton's back.

Rhain: Watch out, Anton!

Somebody with time and a semi-cooperative computer, go hunt down all the balls and tell us who has which color... Please?

Telvia: You can do it Tynx! Go Tynx! Beat the creepy Merashath bird!

Jathan: @me: *accusingly* You didn't work on our story.

Me: I've been... busy.

Jathan: you've done nothing but read all day.

Me: I've been busy reading.

Jathan:

Telvia: Are you ever going to work on our story? Ever?

Me: *sigh* Look guys. I have way more to do right now than I have enthusiasm to cover. All I want to do is sit around and read, despite all the wonderful, useful things I could be doing. Like writing your story. Or praciting for another recording session. Or writing lyrics. Or making contact sheets for my theatre. Or even working on Lightning Ranger.

Telvia: You worked on Lightning Ranger. You didn't work on us.

Me: consider yourselves still in development, okay? And consider yourselves lucky. Once I start writing with you you'll be considered developed and then I'll probably pull you out of here. So if you want to stay, stop whining about your story. 'kay?

Jathan: Okay.

Me: thanks.

Anton: OW! *ball bounces off of him and rolls on the floor*

Ioanna: You're out!

Anton: HEY!

Ioanna: Can't help it. You got hit.

Dani: *plays with end of whip* This is exciting!

Me: Karanzu, go get your whip, please. I think terrorizing other characters in the computer is better than Dani having it.

Karanzu: Alright. ::takes whip back:: Dani, here's another one, and a dagger. Just hide them till I'm gone.

Me: I wonder if I should check on what you just said...

Karanzu: I'm leaving now. I just said bye to her. That's all.

Tynx: [Turns back into Tynx] That all you got?

Cory: Well, two are down...

Me: Only if its padded and doesn't hurt anyone. And I doubt Karanzu has one.

Me: He should know from experience.

Mordir: And, whose fault would that be?

Me: I dunno.

Dani: Ha ha! *a dagger flies lightning speed through the air and thunks right next to Elanhil's arm*

Aryn: Yipes. You missed.

Dani: I wasn't aiming for you... *shows Aryn the whip*

Aryn: What! A whip too! That's it. Authoress, stop her!

Dani: I haven't done anything bad yet. You don't want me to get out of practice, do you? Hmm, I wonder what these balls do if a dagger hits them...

Me: Don't do anything, Dani!

Dani: You're the one with the keyboard.

Me: Right...

[I regret that due to the busyness of school, I must withdraw from here for now. Someone else that wanted to play dodgeball, but couldn't, can take Auraelia's place on Kendri's team. I do still need to develop Auraelia and her fellow characters, though, so I will be starting a thread for her in the next day or two, once I get everything sorted out. I scrapped her old story, and gave her a new one, so now I have to rearrange my brain. Sorry, everyone.]

Auraelia: *a single tear trickles down her cheek as she waves and walks dejectedly away*

*Jathan gets up slowly and goes for the blue ball, still lying on the floor*

Telvia: Watch out! *she runs and catches the yellow ball, knocking Jathan down*

Jathan: Watch out yourself. *rubs his head.* Why do you keep knocking me down?

Telvia: You almot got hit! *sees Raven's post* Aw... bye Aurelia! *drops yellow ball and runs up and hugs her before she leaves* I'll come visit you in your thread!!!

Jathan: *balances the blue ball carefully and then throws it at Aurelia*

Me: Hey! You can't throw it at a member of your own team!

Jathan: Sure I can. Now her author can let her get hit and she'll be out of the game so she doesn't have to worry about leaving it.

Me: *furiously* It's against the rules!

Jathan: What rules? This is a crazy fantasy forum. There are no rules.

Me:

Dani: That's mean, Jathan! *hugs Auraelia* I'll come visit you, and we can plan to get Jathan if you want.

Aryn: I will come too, Auraelia. Can I play in her spot?

Dani: That's mean too!

Me: Correct, Dani. No Aryn, I don't want to commit to that right now.

Dani: She said I was right! *smug smile* Let's get Aryn too, Auraelia!

Elanhil: Yipes!! [slowly pulls dagger out of the wall, and eyes it nervously] Throwing dagger. [spots Aurelia and suddenly drops the dagger] Your leaving? I'll miss you.

Me: Aw...I didn't know you cared.

Elanhil: can I borrow Steve?

Me: Uh...sure. Don't hurt him.

Elanhil:[whispers to steve]

Steve: [walks slowly up to Aurelia, and head hung says:] buy!

Elanhil: NO!!!! [walks up and shoves Steve aside with his foot.] Bye! [hugs Aurelia]

Jade: [enters room and spots Elanhil] Excuse me, mister. I thought you said you only cared about me! Me!!!!

Me: What? How'd you get here!! [shoves Jade out]

Elanhil: Who was that?

Me: Your girlfriend.

Elanhil: I have a girlfriend?

Me: Oh, come on. every guy who's 18 years old has to have a girlfriend.

Elanhil: Not really.

Me: Alright. I have to see to Merashath.

Merashath: I am NOT a bird. And that is NOT all I've got. [Screeches horridly and suddenly lunges for Tynx, talons out, but at the last minute reverses his body so that his face is facing Tynx. Suddenly, Merashath screeches sending an icy blast at Tynx. He lands and does a somersault on the ground to a standing position.

Dani: *snatches up dagger* Ha ha! Seriously, what does happen if you hit one of these balls with a dagger?

Me: How about I make one and you find out?

Aryn: Please don't!

Dani: It would serve you right for being mean!

Me: *turquoise ball flies through the at at Aryn*

Dani: *dagger slams ball in midair and embeds in the wall. The ball explodes into a thousand radiant sparkles that shower like confetti around Dani and Aryn* That was amazing, if I do say so myself. *bows* These are pretty!

Aryn: *sneezes* I think I'll move away now... Cool move, Merashath!

Me: *a stray ball flies right by Aryn's head*

Aryn: *head whips around* Hey, that wasn't a stray ball! You fixed the one Dani sliced and winged it at me!

Dani: Of course she did!

Me:

Tynx: [Scrambles for cover, but gets hit and thrown halfway across the dodgeball court] Wow! What was that?! [Stands up shakily and gets off the court before any balls hit him]

Me: Impressive.

Tynx: I don't have any ice, do I?

Me: No, you don't. I think all you've got is shapeshifting, energy balls, and needle-sharp fur.

Tynx: Ah well. [Turns back into his own body, and runs at Merashath, claws out]

Tesmir: Did any balls get thrown on our side?

Jek: I.... don't believe so.

Chase: C'mon, you guys can do better than that!

Me: Ooh, Elanhil's got a girlfriend?

Cory: Um, I'm 18. I have no girlfriend. And no Lorielle does not count!

Me: Good point.

Tesmir: I'm 19.

Me: You and your brothers have never had any romance, Tesmir.

Tesmir: Unless you count that one story you tried. With Ramira?

Me: Yeah..... but that's not gonna happen.

Mordir: Instead she's making me suffer.

Cory: [Explodes into laughter]

Hakor: I'm busy with kids here. OK, everybody sit back down now, OK? Next time, only one person gets the ball. We'll take turns. Most likely the teams will have bad aim and everyone will get a turn. Besides, you've got the pistol.

Cory: Oh dear...

Elanhil: [shakes head] Why do I have to be out so early??

Merashath: Well, young one, want some more?

Me: More?

Merashath: I do have more powers don't I?

Me: I think you're limited to claws, telekinesis, and ice magic.

Merashath: Well then, I'll use some other sort of ice magic.

Me: Ok.

Merashath: [An ice wall slowly begins to grow around Merashath, cutting Tynx off.]

Telvia: *comes running in and throws yellow ball at Mereshath* Take that you big meany!!!

Me: *catches ball* He's on your team Telvia, you can't throw it at him.

Telvia: Not fair...

Me: *throws yellow ball in the general direction of the other team* Here, do something with this! I feel like my characters are getting more than their share of ball throwing.

Me: Welcome Charlotte and Lucius. There is a dodgeball game in progress. If you wish to play, pick a team and line up along the wall until your name is called. This will happen when someone on that team catches a ball thrown at them, providing there are a corresponding number of author points to play on the other team as well. (author points are 1 pt. per character belonging to the same author. If you have two characters that's two author points. So one author with two characters and two with one equals a total of 4 author points. See?) If you do not wish to join the dodgeball game then just dodge the balls and talk!

Ioanna: Welcome, Charolette and Lucuis! ACK! ::ducks red ball:: That was close. Anyway. You two want to be on our team?

Ethan: Hey! Ball!

Elkine: ::scoops up blue ball:: Sorry! ::throws blue ball at Aaron::

Ioanna: You could have picked someone else. He's already got a ball flying at him.

Elkine: Yes, but this way there's a more than double chance of hitting him. He can't dodge two balls at once, can he?

Tamera: Hours upon hours of washing laundry and churning butter can do that to a girl.

Me: No kidding.

Tynx: Bring it! [Uses tail to send the ball flying back to the court] But not that.

Mordir: [Gets smacked in the middle with the green ball]

Cory: Dude, are you alright?

Mordir: [Walks off to the side and sit down] I'll live. Don't mind me if my lunch decides to rebel.

Cassandra: Eww.

Tesmir: [Picks up the green ball and lobs it at Tamera]

Hakor: Sheesh, I was beginning think you guys wouldn't get any action.

Me: Hello, new people! Come join the game!

Mordir: [Gives a weak wave]

Cory: You make it sound awful.

[Ice dome explodes, sending millions of shards of ice everywhere. Merashath emerges and walks over to his side of the court.]

Merashath: [retrieves red ball] I believe that this ball was thrown and somebody ducked. Here goes! [Catapults red ball at Tynx]

Cory: [Runs backward and catches ball] Ha. [Throws ball at Merashath]

Tynx: Oh, OK. [Runs over to his side of the court, scrambles backward to avoid the red ball, and trips over his own paws]

Cory: More often than not, I should think.

Me: Mordir, I've changed my mind about your story, and I'm doing another one. You're in it, just a different plot and stuff.

Me: Anton probably, he's been out longer. But that's up to the captain, I think.

ME: I will bring in Aidan Romero again, this time an older Aidan. This time he's fifteen, wearing a gray t-shirt, jeans, and shades. He has gray eyes, black hair, and a nasty looking scar on his arm. Let me warn you, he's not the same as last time.

Aidan: *enters room and begins scanning it for potential enemies* Hello.

Ioanna: Hello, Aidan! Do want to play as well? ::counts on fingers:: There are now seven characters who want to play. That means four for one team and three for the other. Now, if Aidan wants to play, that means four for each team.

Anton: And it'll still mean that one of the characters from Griffin will have to be on the opposite side as the rest.

Ioanna: ::shrug:: I don't care, as long as they can keep who's on what side straight. If there are no further additions, may I please have Calen's charries, Aidan (if he's playing) and Griffin's Griffin?

Anton: Didn't somebody threaten Griffin with a ball? Are you sure you want him? He'll get hit immediately!

Ioanna: I wanted them on my team... And I did already say that, too. Calen/Calen's characters, are you looking for instructions on how to play? Or do you just want to be recruited?

Anton: ::grabs purple ball before it reaches Lucius and/or Syleh:: How are you throwing the same ball at two people, Kendri?

We were trying to avoid splitting up authors but we might make an exception.

Cory caught a ball. Kendri just caught two balls. So one person on Ionna's team can come back, and two on Kendri's team. But I think only one person was out on Kendri's team, so should we let the new people on one at a time rather then trying to make it even? In which case Kendri can pick one character to add to her team. Otherwise we'll just wait for all the characters to speak up and divide them that way; evenly.
