Came down with a cold today, which means my brain isn't completely operational. I did manage just over 600 words... we'll see how many more I get in tonight.

I met my NaNo goal. I got over 3000 as well, Wolf. ;) It was a miracle, considering that it was All Saint's Day yesterday and I was either writing, cooking, or practicing plays from the time I woke up til the time I went to bed. (Oh, wait, I actually wrote a bit after I went to bed... :D)

Wow, this sounds like fun. I wish I had been planning so I could join the party. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of it until too late. :P

But next year... :book: ^_^

Great job, everyone. Keep up the good work. I just did a quick calculation, and I found that you don't even need to write 1700 words a day to reach 50,000 for the month. So keep those fingers typing. :D

I'm trying to get a bit ahead because I won't really have the opportunity to write next week since I'll be gone for five days. No avail yet, though. :P

I'm on track so far. I'm aiming for 2000 words a day -- I haven't decided whether or not I'll write on Sundays yet. :) It may just depend on how tired I am. Good job everyone! :D

Oh! HERE'S the Nanowrimo thread! I'm going to go ahead and move this to quests, since that's where we've put similar threads. (I think, anyway.)

Anyhow. My Nano username is Janin of Yen.

This will be my fourth year. I also did CampNanowrimo in August. Won every time. :D

I'm writing superheroes! Er, supervillains. Which ya'll have probably heard plenty about by now.

I haven't done any writing today.

I have an excuse.

My horse got out this morning.

So it's not really my fault.

But I suppose I could be writing now...

Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Mark, 115,600 words (Preparing for Publication)
The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)

I'm a bit behind (about 1800 words) but loving my story so far. Including the fact that I seem to be managing having characters not getting along (pathetic, yes, I know). But I'm excited about what plot I've figured out (particularly since most of the ideas didn't come until just before NaNo started) and I love my characters, and right now it's looking like a fun ride this month. :D

One ear is a floppy dog's ear and the other is a pointy dog's ear. Your hair is a mess of tentacles. You have the body of a centaur, with four wings and two tails (both with feathers on the end). Two wings are pink. The other two are green and black, respectively. You have a row of sharp spines going down your back (very sharp). You also hiccup rainbow bubbles... ~Vili
So, now you all know what I look like.

It's okay, Bushes! There will be time to catch up!

Awesome, Leandra! That's a great feeling to have. :D

I have decided to log my words into the NaNo site that I do on development and when I start my novel, just for fun and to see how much writing I do on a casual basis. I'm not going to get 50k, of course, but it is fun to watch the stats get a little higher. :D And also to quench my urge to jump in and write full-speed. ;) Check out my plans here.

I know, I was just saying that that was the amount I would possibly have to write today if I were to get completely caught up.
