Today is the first day of Camp NaNo! Here is your thread to discuss it, to keep the "Who's Competing in Camp NaNo" thread on topic. Who is doing it? How is it going? What are your plans? Did the Camp NaNo site thoroughly confuse you?

For those who don't know, Camp NaNo is like NaNoWriMo - A challenge to write 50,000 words in one month. It runs in June and August.

It's going pretty well. I had nearly 1500 words, then I decided to change POVs.

Eh...alright, I suppose. I've only got 500 words. But I hope to get at least 2,000 total, for today. 1,500 words to go! I'd better start working, though. Writer's block is not a good way to start Camp NaNo.

My novel is not a novel. I'm counting up my world-building, plotting, character developing, everything. It's been going well so far.

I'm still deciding which story I'm going to write, but I will start tonight.

So today I surprised myself. I guess I've gotten much faster at writing since NaNo... I have 2189 words and it's only past 3 PM! Usually it would be much harder for me to get that much....

In order to not burn myself out, I'll just relax and take the evening off writing.

Hmm...yes, how'd that get in there? I'll try...it might be easier since I'll be editing (therefore I'll be counting words that I'm not even typing if I don't have to change them), on the other hand it might be harder since I'll be editing.
Have to wait and see I guess...

Yes, but I'm stuck in all three.

I managed to scrape by, and even went a bit over, though. I'm about to get to Alastar in The Girl on the Swing, and after that, things should go much faster.

As for False Gods, that will hopefully speed up in the next couple of chapters or so...

As for Above the Gray Skies...well, that one's going to be a bit more tricky.

Anyhow. My final word count for today is 2065. I wrote about 1000 in TGOTS, 700 in FG. And only about 300 in ATGS. (Figures that I'd be struggling more with the one I want to finish the most. )

My mom's away so I've been busy today, (do you have any idea how hard it is just to keep the house tidy?!!??!!) My little brother (5) was not helpful...

Anywho, I am only 200 words in, but I'm getting back at it.

I'm much better at multitasking then focusing on one project. Which I suspect can be good, but could also quite possibly be bad. I have a very short attention span.

Originally, I wasn't going to be in a cabin at all, but I messed with some of the settings and ended up in one anyways.

My cabin is full of people I don't know or know anything about. I would've preferred being in one with HWers, I would've felt more comfortable, but my cabin mates seem pretty nice. Should be fun.

I've got 2,599 words. I plan to get to 4,000 today.

Goal for today: Get to 15k. I may or may not make it, depending on how busy the day ends up.

My goal is to stagger to 10k. But I'm busy today, so...

My thoughts exactly, Zeor I'm at 9248 and shall try to make 10k by tonight....ideally I would get 12k, but I don't think that'll happen

I'm at 9236 and stalling because of the important work on this one scene.

We were driving all day long, so I got lots of writing done.

I now have 17,638.

I'm trying to not let it take over my life. For November NaNo, that was almost impossible for me to write more then 2k a day. Now, I know it's possible for me to be doing days that are over 3k, but I don't do much else that day. So things are getting neglected. Aside from the occasional day where I will set grand goals and write like crazy, I think I need to limit myself. *Is catching up on forums and blog posts before starting her writing for today*
