Hey everybody. I realize May is a hectic month with graduations and weddings, etc. I'll keep this thread going for when you can drop by and post your goals or simply to encourage others in theirs.

My goals shifted this week from day on, day off between editing and prepping my book to edit, edit, edit and if I've met my goal finish my short story in progress, and then prep my novel. I also have some podcasts to do this week. I've got to edit the second part of James Somers interview, discussing his publishing history and his success in self-publishing. I also need to record another audiotim episode.

p.s. I guess I should have a concrete goal for editing. I'll say I'd like to get into chapter 9. I'm approaching ch 6, but I'm averaging one a day, so that will push me. (I'm taking a lot of notes as I go, and am loving it)

I've been putting off returning to the line edits of my book, so that's a goal for this week. I'd like to get through at least another chapter. I'd also like to finish the first chapter of the next book I'm writing and post it here so I can get some motivation to keep working on it.

I'm trying to prep myself for my NaNoWriMo novel. Right now I have Princess Anastasia & Gwyneth's basic info, and I'm working on Patience's. Then there's Unnamed Boys # 1 & 2. (I'm thinking about Caleb for #1, and Andrew for #2, because I want to use some of HW'ers names for my story.)

My goal this week is to determine where I'm going with revisions in "Red Rain," which probably means getting a new plot synopsis written. Doing well so far.
