Welcome to week Fifty-Eight. :D

Your challenge this week is to write a scene/chunk (minimum 500 words) where your MC dies.

As always...

The Rules wrote:
1. All challenges must be declared completed by midnight Saturday in your timezone (please specify your timezone when you sign up).
2. All challenges (personal or weekly) must be declared by midnight Monday in your timezone.
3. Personal challenges cannot be repeated.
4. The organizer reserves the right to veto any challenges that seem too simple. (i.e. writing a sentence)

If this is your first time on one of these quests, you'll need to see the initiation pamphlet.

Also, I would like to remind everyone that any weekly challenge pieces that are posted on the forum will be eligible to be featured in our newsletter. Please post a link in this thread if you would like it to be considered.

If you could write your sign-up post in a similar format to the following, it would be appreciated:
Goal: weekly challenge (or whatever you decide to do)
Timezone: PDT

WRIIIIITE! KILLLLL! ;)

If it's another personal goal, sure--you won't get more points for another part of a personal goal, but you wouldn't have earlier anyway. It's basically just adding more to your personal goal for the week, so I don't see a problem. :) (just you can't make your goal smaller after the deadline for goal making is passed) If you mean doing the weekly challenge again--you can do that anytime and just mark it done as twice (or however many times you did it).

Thanks. :) P-p-p-post it? * quickly sorts through list of possible excuses * It's the last scene of a rather strange book, and noone would understand it.

Well, they were rather short chapters. :)

Since the site will be down for most of tomorrow, will the deadline be extended, like it was going to last week before the date was changed? *Notes his procrastinated objectives still sitting in front of him mostly-untouched :P

EDIT: Looks like the unified forum changes didn't take HW off-line for as long as I expected. Nevermind this post then.

Good job everyone. :D
This week is now closed (unless you live, like, in my timezone...PM me or something, I'm too tired to see if you exist right now). :)
Go make your goals on next week's thread and check out the scoreboard.
