And a new week begins!

Your challenge for week forty-six is to write a primary source document for your world. This could be an excerpt (with multiple entries) of an explorer's journal, a treaty/constitution, even an old love letter! Use your imagination. :D

Remember, in order to receive points for completing the weekly challenge, you MUST declare it by Monday at midnight.

As always...

The Rules wrote:
1. All challenges must be declared completed by midnight Saturday in your timezone (please specify your timezone when you sign up).
2. All challenges (personal or weekly) must be declared by midnight Monday in your timezone.
3. Personal challenges cannot be repeated.
4. The organizer reserves the right to veto any challenges that seem too simple. (i.e. writing a sentence)

If this is your first time on one of these quests, you'll need to see the initiation pamphlet.

Also, I would like to remind everyone that any weekly challenge pieces that are posted on the forum will be eligible to be featured in our newsletter. Please post a link in this thread if you would like it to be considered.

If you could write your sign-up post in a similar format to the following, it would be appreciated:
Goal: weekly challenge (or whatever you decide to do)
Timezone: PDT

WRITE!!! *turns over hourglass set to run out at midnight on Saturday*

Ooh, that's a really nifty bonus goal. Awesome! :D But pretty much my only writing goal this week is to fulfill my promise to Zoeee that I would write. (Ended up formatting 3 books last week and so didn't do much of the writing thing.) >.>

Weekly Goal Accepted
Personal Goal: Edit Three Chapters in The Capstone

What exactly is a primary source document? I think I understand what it is, so I'm accepting it, but I'd like to be a bit more sure on what exactly it is!

Aratrea: a primary source document is something written by someone that lived through a historical event, as opposed to someone writing about history without having seen it. The US Constitution would be a primary source document, for example, as would Anne Frank's diary.
