Welcome fellow questers!

Your challenge for week thirty-nine is to write a winter-set/themed piece, whether it be an essence map, short story, or poem.
Bonus points if your piece is also Christmas themed.

Don't forget to factor in the busy week when you make your goals. :D

Remember, in order to receive points for completing the weekly challenge, you MUST declare it by Monday at midnight.

As always...

The Rules wrote:
1. All challenges must be declared completed by midnight Saturday in your timezone (please specify your timezone when you sign up).
2. All challenges (personal or weekly) must be declared by midnight Monday in your timezone.
3. Personal challenges cannot be repeated.
4. The organizer reserves the right to veto any challenges that seem too simple. (i.e. writing a sentence)

If this is your first time on one of these quests, you'll need to see the initiation pamphlet.

Also, I would like to remind everyone that any weekly challenge pieces that are posted on the forum will be eligible to be featured in our newsletter. Please post a link in this thread if you would like it to be considered. So far, we do not have any submissions for the next feature.

If you could write your sign-up post in a similar format to the following, it would be appreciated:
Goal: weekly challenge (or whatever you decide to do)

Weekly goal complete and combined with my personal goal. The Christmas story ended up becoming a chapter in my book. :) I'll post a link when I get back home on Monday or Tuesday.
