Welcome to week thirty-eight, fellow questers! :D

Your goal this week is to write an essence map of a published author's character.

Remember, in order to receive points for completing the weekly challenge, you MUST declare it by Monday at midnight.

As always...

The Rules wrote:
1. All challenges must be declared completed by midnight Saturday in your timezone (please specify your timezone when you sign up).
2. All challenges (personal or weekly) must be declared by midnight Monday in your timezone.
3. Personal challenges cannot be repeated.
4. The organizer reserves the right to veto any challenges that seem too simple. (i.e. writing a sentence)

If this is your first time on one of these quests, you'll need to see the initiation pamphlet.

Also, I would like to remind everyone that any weekly challenge pieces that are posted on the forum will be eligible to be featured in our newsletter. Please post a link in this thread if you would like it to be considered. So far, we do not have any submissions for the next feature.

If you could write your sign-up post in a similar format to the following, it would be appreciated:
Goal: weekly challenge (or whatever you decide to do)
Timezone: PDT

WRITE! *sets off Roman candles*

Oh wait, I thought today was Sunday... I guess I haven't failed yet, but it's looking doubtful. :P

Give it your best shot, Mae! You're not allowed to say you failed until at least later in the day. *nods firmly* *offers some cupcakes*
