Welcome to week thirty, fellow questers! :D

Your goal this week is to write a minimum 500 word description of what a previously blind person sees, feels, and thinks when they first see the world.

Your NaNo goal this week is 1500 words on novel development. Don't look at me like that. Jeremiah came up with this one.

Wait. What are NaNo goals?
I was just going to tell you. ;) For the rest of October and the month of November, we will be hosting extra goals that will either help your NaNo experience, or make it more...shall we say..interesting.

Can I do them even if I'm not doing NaNo?
For certain! They are quite likely to be able to be applied to normal writing, so help yourself to the extra points. :D

Remember, in order to receive points for completing the weekly challenge, you MUST declare it by Monday at midnight.

As always...

The Rules wrote:
1. All challenges must be declared completed by midnight Saturday in your timezone (please specify your timezone when you sign up).
2. All challenges (personal or weekly) must be declared by midnight Monday in your timezone.
3. Personal challenges cannot be repeated.
4. The organizer reserves the right to veto any challenges that seem too simple. (i.e. writing a sentence)

If this is your first time on one of these quests, you'll need to see the initiation pamphlet.

Also, I would like to remind everyone that any weekly challenge pieces that are posted on the forum will be eligible to be featured in our newsletter. Please post a link in this thread if you would like it to be considered.

If you could write your sign-up post in a similar format to the following, it would be appreciated:
Goal: weekly challenge (or whatever you decide to do)
Timezone: PDT

WRITE! *sets off Roman candles*

I guess I might as well add some incentive to this goal besides wanting to do Nano:

Personal Goal: finish rewriting Book 1.
Time Zone: CDT

Sadly, I'm not sure if I'm going to complete my goal. :P I'll have to wait and see how my thoughts progress and what I end up doing with this curveball I had this week.

I failed my goals, and knew I would, because I didn't end up doing NaNo after all.
