Hi! This is a topic for my two main characters, Aaron and Arionwyn.
(Hope you don't mind that I stole your list, StoryGirl ;) )

Name: Aaron Darkstar
Nickname: Aaron
Gender: Male
Species: Elf
Height: about 6' or taller
Hair color and style: very black, straight, hangs down over his ears
Eye Color: dark brown
Clothing: black tunic w/ chain mail under, green cloak, black leggings
Age: over 20
Personality: Very quiet, hates large groups of people. A bit stiff with strangers, but funny in a dry sort of way when you get to know him.
Other appearance: Tanned, medium skin, pointed ears (of course!), slender but strong.
Weapons:Hand and a half sword with a dragon head on the pommel, hilt is wrapped with strips of dark blue leather. Also has some skill with the bow, but preferred weapons are sword and small throwing knives.

Name: Arionwyn
Nickname: 'Wyn
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Height: 5' 10"
Hair color and style: very light blond, unruly.
Eye Color: Bright blue
Clothing: Brown tunic, tall boots, chain mail, prefers light armor for agility.
Age: 17
Personality: Outgoing, reckless. Aaron is kind of the voice of common sense to her. ;)
Other appearance: pale skin, tall and slender but not delicate.
Weapons: Light sword, can shoot but not very well.

Me: Okay guys, you can introduce yourselves.

Arionwyn: Hey, what did you say about me up there?

Me: Just ignore it -

Arionwyn: Oh, I'm reckless, am I?

Me: Yes, actually you are.

Aaron: Arionwyn, do what the author says. You don't want to get killed, do you?

Arionwyn: Not exactly...

Aaron: Then shut up. Anyway, I'm Aaron Darkstar, from Laecla, land of the elves. I meet Arionwyn at the beginning of the story, and I must say I rescue her once too often.

Arionwyn: *enraged* AARON!!

*Aaron cringes*

Arionwyn: *a little quieter* Aren't there some more elves you could talk with here? I'd like to visit with HUMANS for a change!

Aaron: I don't know. There's no one posting on the topic yet.

Sellion: Well, I'm an Elf, so...

Turwaithel: Most of us are...

Arphenion: Yup. I'm an Elf too. And I'm king now... Don't know if I can handle this...

Aranel: You'll be fine. Hey, Aaron. Arionwyn. Nice to meet you :)

Grisnok: Well, I'm a Chaiden, if you want to talk to me...

Ana: Hello. So, Aaron, you're an Elf? I'm a Half elf or more a disgrace to the Elves because I can't be quiet.

Arionwyn: Oh.

Aaron: Anyway, there's plenty of humans in the story.

Arionwyn: Grisnok, what's a Chaiden?

Grisnok: I believe my author would say we are kind of like Dwarves, but I don't think so.

Me: Well, that's where I originally got the idea... I stink at naming things, so "Chaiden" probably sounds weird, but anyway. I need to make a topic for this. *whispers* Don't tell him this, but I just needed something to get rid of my writer's block. Making a new race seemed to be the way to go. And it seemed to help. I needed more people in my world besides Elves and Men anyway...

Grisnok: I heard that! Anyway, I am about three feet tall, have thick black hair (no beard!) and clear blue eyes. Others of my race look similar, although they have varying eye and hair color. We have special stones that we keep in the king's tower that we use to watch the kings of each race. The stones glow when the king or his family is in trouble, dying, or are going to war. This helps us because if there is going to be a war, we know to stay hidden in the mountains --not underground, mind you-- to protect our family. If we choose to, we might decide to help the person in need, if we decide they need help. Sometimes when there is a war, we decide to help. If the battle takes place in the mountains, we usually just hide behind rocks and throws rocks and bursts of what you might call magic --just a skill we are born with, really. If the battle takes place elsewhere, we usually turn invisible --again, nothing to do with magic, we are just born with that power-- and help there if we choose to. Sometimes we choose a side and help them win --which is how many of the world's great battles were won, although we don't take the credit for it-- and sometimes we just keep things even. If neither side has a good reason for fighting, we don't allow either side to win, and eventually they both have to retreat.
We Chaidens live for a very long time, even compared to the Elves. Some people say we are immortal, but I can assure you that isn't true. We just have very long lifespans and are good at preserving ourselves. Our invisibility and the fact we keep ourselves safe at all times help us to live longer. I myself am 5000 years old, but I'm still quite young.
We are very strong, and our weapon of choice is a hammer with a cylindrical head about ten inches long and five inches thick. We can kill a grown man in mere seconds if angered.
The Elves are always trying to capture us. They think we're rich and powerful and would make good slaves, although I don't know where they got that idea. We actually give the riches we find in the mountains away, but don't tell anyone else that because then they would come to us begging for money.
I think that's about it, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Me: Yeah, I'm definitely headed to start a topic about this.
Oh, and if you haven't noticed, Chaidens also have a tendency to ramble on and on, and often get off topic. Don't be too hasty or jump to conclusions about anything they say, though. Makes them a bit mad.
They are good natured, they just don't show it.
Here's the topic: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=180

Arionwyn: O....kay. Got my answer then.

*Aaron chuckles*

Me: It might seem against Aaron's nature to argue with Arionwyn, but you have to remember that these two have known each other since the beginning of the story, longer than 100 pages. :P

Me: Sorry about Grisnok's rambling... part of his nature, I guess...

Turwaithel: It's very interesting to travel with him, that's for sure.

Rhovanion: He plays good music, though.

Turwaithel: *raises eyebrow at Rhovanion* I wouldn't know. I fell asleep.

Rhovanion: *grins*

Me: Alllllright, that's enough.

Sierra: I know an Aaron too! But he doesn't seem to have any problem with talking too much. *glares*

Aaron #2: Hey! Are you talking about me?

Sierra: Well who else do you expect me to talk about? I've been traveling with you for ages!

Aaron #2: And you enjoyed every minute of it.

Sierra: Of course I did. But anyway Chaidens sound very interesting. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting one until now!

Grisnok: Well it's very nice to meet you as well, miss.

Matt: Hi Mr. Grisnok! I'm Matt and these are my friends, Griffin and Phillip! I've never met a Chaiden before you sound interesting! :D :D :D :D :D    :D

Griffin: I'm not even going to argue about the friends thing or the smilies.

Phillip: I've never heard of a Chaiden...sounds interesting.

Matt: Phillip loves learning new things :D . Griffin, on the hand, not so much, :( unless it's about weapons :D :D ! I love just about everything including learning anything!

Phillip: Why don't the Chaidens take credit for the victories they help with? I'm assuming they worship the one God?

Griffin: Oh great. We'll be here for hours with him asking questions.

Matt: Yay! :D

Phillip: I'm just getting started. (cracks knuckles)

Griffin: Exactly my point.

Matt: Hey, Aaron and Aironwyn! :D

Me: Phillip, please ask what you want quickly, I have other things I have to do today.

Phillip: OK, did Chaidens have their powers from the very first Chaiden, or was it a gift? Define bursts of magic please. Are there any Chaidens that are slaves of the elves, since they are trying to capture them for slaves? And how come you get along with all those elves you're traveling with?

Me: Sorry they kind of got off the Aaron and Aironwyn topic.

Griffin: Hey Aaron, maybe we can spar sometime

Matt: Bye! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D    :D :) :D

Me, Griffin, and Phillip:  MATT! ENUOGH SMILIES!!!!!!!!!

Me: *clamps hand over Grisnok's mouth* You two could talk for hours I'm sure. He loves answering questions. Although it takes a while, so I'll let him tell you here: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=180
So we aren't going off topic.

Sierra: I'm half human! Does that count?

Aaron #2: Wait a second, last time I heard you were more shapeshifter than human...

Sierra: Technically. Why do have to make everything so complicated?!

Aaron #2: I'm guess I'm just good at that!

Aaron: I've learned that sometimes things can get quite complicated *ahem* when Arionwyn's around.

Arionwyn: *snort*

Me: Sorry I haven't been very active on this topic lately...I was-

Arionwyn: She was too busy making me and a handsome elf hold hands. *smirk*

Aaron:  Wonder who that would be?

Arionwyn: I'm not sure. I sure don't know any handsome elves. To Matt: Don't take it to heart. I like smilies too. :) :) :) :)

Aaron: To Griffin: Love to. What kind of weapon do you carry? Mine looks something like this: http://www.excaliburbrothers.com/site/697427/product/UC1267 Except a little less elaborate.

Griffin: I just carry a sword just over three and a half feet long. I don't have any markings or fancy stuff except for the name engraved on the blade, Reandil or in English, Reaper. I'm not much for extra things that just get in the way of my sword fighting. I also usually carry a six foot long spear.

Aaron #2: Six foot long spears don't get in the way??? Of course, I've never used a spear. I'm still working on the sword part!

Griffin: It's really not that hard to figure out! :? I have to get back to those slave traders! (stomps off)

Phillip: Wait, come back, Griffin! (runs after Griffin)

Me: Sorry about that. He usually straps the spear on his back diagonally, but he holds it sometimes too just in case someone tries to stop his quest.

Griffin: (shouting from about 20 yards away) I became adept at weapons because I had nothing else to in my spare time while I was at the orphanage.

Matt: :D      :D

Arionwyn: They allowed you to have weapons in an orphanage?

Aaron: Interesting. I've never tried a spear. My sword doesn't have a name, *glares at me* but I'm sure it will by the time the Author finishes . . . *clears his throat*

Me:Oh, alright.

Me: Actually, I named the sword just before I posted

Phillip: They don't allow us to carry weapons in the orphanage, but they do have a classes on how to use them. Personally, I think the more educational classes are better.

Matt: I like them both! :D  :D  :D

Griffin:( at Matt) I got my sword after I left the orphanage.

Matt: Yeah! Me too! :D :D

Me: (palm to face) Griffin was one of the only five students who took the weapons class.

Aaron: Evidently. You like me, do you not?

Sierra: Maybe you should attend one of those classes Aaron...

Aaron2: Was that an insult?

Sierra: of course not!

Aaron2: You are ridiculous.

Sierra: I am not! What I said was perfectly true, and you know it!

Me: Cut it out, you two.

Aaron2 and Sierra: *sheepishly* Sorry.

Sierra: I got a little carried away, but Aaron, you really should consider...

Me and Aaron: Sierra!

Sierra: Anyway, Arionwyn, I like unique people too. They make everything more interesting.

K, I'm changing something about Aaron's age. I decided that while elves are not immortal, they do have roughly twice the lifespan of a human. The children mature at the same rate as humans, but age slower and seem to stay in their prime for an unnaturally long time. Instead of being 'over 20', Aaron is now over 40. Remember that he would seem to be about 20 to a human, but he is actually twice that.
Ok, I've confused you enough. Just think of Aaron as being 20. lol

Aaron: Arionwyn, did you hear that? That means I am now nearly twice as old as you . . .

Arionwyn: Yes, I heard. That still doesn't mean I have to listen to everything you say. Just because I'm 17 and you're 40-something . . .

Earis: With that logic, Aaron now has to listen to everything I say, since I'm now *apparently* 50 instead of 25. Aaron, that means you have to stay in the healer's tent if I say so.

Aaron: *grunt*

Sierra: You are not allowed to do this in our story, Abby! I don't need Aaron to be any older than me!

Another interesting topic.  Eruwaedhiel (did I spell your name right?), I love your characters. They both have so much personality and differing temperments, it's really neat to read your posts with them. How do you do the masculine personality with Aaron? I'm struggling a little with Arctax's personality, I didn't know it was so complex.

Arctax - (Snort) Thanks a lot.

Me - You're welcome.

Azura - Great to see everyone again. I relish all of the chances to be able to communicate with other characters, whom I would probably never meet otherwise.

Me - Those Chaidens sound interesting, Sapphira! I think that the beardless is a improvement on the average dwarf type person.

Arctax - I'll say. Nice to meet you, Grisnok.

Azura - Arionwyn, I now officially know enough about you to deem you awesome as well. I hope I didn't offend you earlier (Character Introductions), but . . . well . . . I guess I can't say anything. Hope we can be friends now.

Arctax - Ah, now we've gotten there. (to Azura) You know, it's almost impossible to get you to admit a wrong.

Azura - So?

Me -

I know I've asked this before, and now I feel dumb, but it's early in the morning and I'm kind of out of it. How do Aaron and Arionwyn meet?

I don't remember you asking before. As I have it now, he rescues her from being captured. (cliche, I know  )

Oh, Arionwyn is a human! I really need to settle down and stop speed reading threads...it gets me into trouble sometimes. For the longest time I thought Aaron and Arionwyn were brother and sister. Hope I didn't offend them! ;)

I like their personalities, though...Aaron actually sounds a little bit like me.

Me: Hey if you're looking for human company...I may be of some assistance. ;)

Charlotte: Arionwyn, Aaron, it is a pleasure to meet you.

Lucius: A pleasure indeed.

Me: Are Arionwyn and Aaron a couple then? Or just good friends?

Charlotte: *thinks they'd make a good couple*

Lucius: *ignoring the topic the author and Charlotte are busy with* Aaron, do you have much connection with animals being an elf? *coming from an animal lover*

Charlotte: *daydreaming*

Me: Okay, well then. This is interesting...
