Welcome to week Seventeen! Proc is still sore from the thrashing we all gave him last week-great job everyone! :D

This week's goal is to write a haiku about silence and a limerick about Holy Worlds (both must be complete to get points).

As always...

The Rules wrote:
1. All challenges must be declared completed by midnight Saturday in your timezone (please specify your timezone when you sign up).
2. Personal challenges must be declared by midnight Monday in your timezone.
3. Personal challenges cannot be repeated.
4. The organizer reserves the right to veto any challenges that seem too simple. (i.e. writing a sentence)

If this is your first time on one of these quests, you'll need to see the initiation pamphlet.

Also, I would like to remind everyone that any weekly challenge pieces that are posted on the forum will be eligible to be featured in our newsletter. Please post a link in this thread if you would like it to be considered.

If you could write your sign-up post in a similar format to the following, it would be appreciated:
Goal: weekly challenge (or whatever you decide to do)

As part of that, I need to make sure I get the trailer script done and sent to someone by the end of the week. Time on that'll count towards my hours.

I do blame him, or rather, I commend him. And I am keeping him on as my participant-hunter after I get back from vacation. ^_^

No, not half done, but that's because I've had a friend over for four days and am counting on making it up in the latter part of the week. ;)

Unfortunately, that's what usually ends up happening for me. I was planning on writing Wednesday morning, but then I was sick and didn't feel like doing much of anything :P. Now I have 1 hour of writing, two poems, and about 12 hours of sewing to fit into two days. *faints* I will survive...somehow D: .

*does the math* Let's see... I did somewhere around 4-6 hours of research on Monday and Tuesday, then I worked all day Wednesday, so that was at least 8 hours... and then about the same on Thursday... which adds up to roughly 20 hours... which means my personal goal is finished. XD

I decided to drop the trailer script--as in, not do it at all prior to the book's release--for a couple of reasons. I'm not counting that against my goal; I'm just lettin' y'all know. :)

Okay... um, apparently I accidentally said my goal was 1500 words, when I meant to say 15,000, but I only ended up doing 5000 (though I thought I had tomorrow as well) so... um... did I fail my goal, or did I do it more than three times over? anyway, there 'tis. :)

Okayyy...since Raven has been unable to address this situation...I'm going to just say that you get points this time, though usually we would go by what you meant (if you'd accidentally typed 150000 instead of 15000 but you got 15000 we would give you points), I think we can give you points since this is your first week. (plus, it makes things more exciting- how can you lose points for missing a goal if you don't have any?).

All that to say...Grace, we're going to give you points right now, but if Raven comes back and disagrees with my decision she can take them back. ;)
