Post subject:  Sir Basil Crewe
Sir Basil Crewe is the victim in my HF novel. (Name may change)

He is in his late thirties, and is single. He has friends, but only because he is feared and people want to keep on his good side. He is one of the Queen's Advisers, but he worked his way into this position with cunning and deceit. He has no qualms about creating a case against someone who is innocent to further his career. He is always on the lookout for information with which he can get a hold over someone.

He has blue eyes, brown hair.
He has no family left, his parents passed away when he was younger, and his only brother died when he was a child.

If people fear him, are they really his friends? What is his ultimate goal? His deepest fear? What does he think of the color orange?

No, they're not really his friends, but they are the only kind of 'friends' that he has.

His ultimate goal is basically power. He hungers after it, and it consumes him; he just craves more - and I think he's the kind of person that doesn't have an ultimate goal, he just wants more power and keeps fighting for it. He wanted to be a close adviser to the Queen, and he got there, but he's never happy, he always wants more power. His deepest fear is loss of control, losing his position and having his deceit uncovered. He has to keep his facade up, and he lives in fear of his pretense coming to light.

Orange does not look good on Sir Basil, and it is not one of his favourite colours. :)

So with this knowledge, does he ever wish for true friendships? Does he ever have a longing for something more in his life than just power?

Does he have a favorite color?

What would I find him doing during his normal every day routine?
