I just wanted to make a thread for those who are interested in having Early Church history and the time of Nero for their stories. Anyone can add information to this thread about things that they learned. Questions can be asked in this thread about the topic as well. The time era for Nero would be around the 60's A.D.

Wow, Nero was one messed up, creepy, ungodly guy, wasn't he?

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)

I'd just like to take this time to say that Flames of Rome is my current favorite as historical fiction goes. Even if you just need a feel for the period read it, it has loads of actual facts and events that really happened as they are in the book.

Yes. People theorize that it is because of the almost certain doom being a Christ-follower meant during this time that the Apostle Paul said that it was better not to marry. Incredible violence.
