This short story was started when Mistress Rwebhu challenged the Holy Worlds Challenge Week 160 people to write a story based on one of five pictures. I chose this one. I didn't finish the story, but I came back to it the next week after accepting my own challenge to write a story about one of three pictures. This time, I chose this one.

The result was a story of a very different flavor than I have ever done before. After sending it to a friend, he mentioned one way to make it a little creepier. After reading through it again, I decided to modify his suggestion. And now, I think it will turn into a series of short stories. Oh well. There are worse things in life.

Without further ado, here is the barely edited short story currently named Mystery of the Stained Glass Window.

Oh, that's the picture I chose also. **grins**

Oooh.. I liked her being in the house and reading about the murderer and being like 'Oh, I could go to the courthouse and find out how he died'.. and then you find out he's still in the house. That's alarming. o_o
