Hey guys!! Elix here. I have been writing poetry again! I used to write it when I was nine and now I am working on some again. I hope you all enjoy and happy reading!

A light in the dark
What is the light without the dark
What is a man without sin
What is a flower without its wilt
What is the ocean without a flood
What is a cause without its defect
Now think of it like this
What is the light without its beauty
What is a man without its love
What is a flower without its blessing
What is the ocean without its joyous waves
And what is a cause without effect
All things aren't perfect but each thing has its perfection

The man of guilt
Who is a man to turn away from his family but a man to turn from God
Who is a man to steal from his family but a man to steal from a bank
Who is a man to cry over work but a man to cry over spilled milk
Who is a man to dishonor his family but a man to dishonor God
Who is a man to worship God but a man to live in peace

What is courage
What is courage some ask well here is how it is
Courage is going in the fiery room
Courage is serving a man in battle
Courage is bringing men to faith
Courage is stepping out into the world
Courage is passing the line
Courage is standing up for what's right
Courage is helping a friend through loss
Courage is worshiping in front of millions
Courage is doing the smallest things for a good cause

A blessing from God
A child has more faith than a church
A child has more love than its mother
A child has more hope than a nation
A child has more strength than a grown man
A child has more courage than a fighter
A child has more knowledge than a book
A child has more God than the kingdom it's self
That is Gods blessing

I hope you all enjoyed this poetry as much as I did and I hope to put up more. If anyone has any advice on this, please tell me, even though this is for fun, I would still like some thought on this.
See ya!
Elix

This is the message to the people of the future. Suffering will take place in the year's to come. A man with gold and silver robes and a rod at his side will take up his fellow people to the city of the belovide. A city of peace and love and comfort. His people are called the Gifted. They shall go out and make peace but more importantly, they shall have the power's of the earth. They shall heal and lead and work miracles beyond recognition. Three will be there to find what has been lost, the eagle, the deer, and the monkey. They shall go into a time of the unknown or as a human would say "Earth."

Hey guys! Here's another poem, really long just to warn you! Hope ya like it!
See ya!
Elix

Slavery
How can they sleep at night
All those children living with fright
What do they do for fun
Most of their life is done
Where do children have there home
Down underground in a secret garden gnome
I pray at night that there would be a day
Where children as these can go out and play
They sleep in solitude most of the time
Or they rest after working for only a dime
How can I eat, I've lost my appetite
Knowing those children won't sleep tonight
Slavery, that's what I see
All those children... set them free!
Petition for a better community
Give out hope and clarity
If only we could feel their pain
I know that we have much to gain
When a child is set to be murdered
Most them though are slaughtered
We only think of ourselves
Listen, do you hear, those wedding bells
A child will never gain that happy moment
When there looking out for their opponent
Listen up people near and far
Children need so be there to rid their scars
