So, I noticed we don't have an official thread for introducing our heroes and villains. Now we do

.
I'll go first, with my two newest characters:
Carpenter is a Warp Smith on the lower end of the power spectrum whose abilities work best when applied to wood. As as result, he has medieval-esque armor made of a Kevlar underlay with shaped wooden plates fastened on to it. The wooden plates can, individually, withstand a shot from an anti-materiel rifle; and together, they form a defensive energy field which can withstand seven hits before dissipating and needing to recharge (takes 1 minute and has 1 hit per pair/piece of armor). They also have blue runes of unknown meaning, copied from Diogehlroug's pommel, that glow while the field is active.
Carpenter carries a wooden buckler which can deflect any solid or energy attack aimed at it, and an ancient Warp Relic – the sword Diogehlroug (Defender of the Breach). Diogehlroug was originally created to be a Welsh champion's blade; it never needs sharpening, can cut through solid steel, and grants the user inhuman reflexes. Carpenter's continued use of the sword, however, has gradually shaped it to his purposes: now it also grants him night vision (causing his eyes to glow pale blue) and has the ability to interrupt any powers based on energy manipulation.
Carpenter is 5'8” tall, with black hair and blue eyes. He wears his armor suit, with a belt and sheath for Diogehlroug and a pair of combat boots, almost all the time.
Glacié (Ana Dupont) also wields a Warp Relic – the Valtikka Jään, or Staff of Ice. Forged by smiths in Finland and concealed for eventual use in defending Earth during Ragnarok, the Staff was forgotten until an archaeological expedition, of which Ana was a part, uncovered it. The Staff bonded to Ana, keying itself to her genetic code, and can now only be used by her. While using the Staff, Ana has the ability to remove heat from anything the Staff touches, including the air itself. The Staff stores the heat inside itself and slowly releases it back into Ana's body to regulate her temperature, ensuring that no matter how cold her surroundings become, she will never be in danger of frostbite or hypothermia.
The Staff is five feet in length and is made of rowan wood sheathed in iron and etched with runes that tell the story of its forging. The Staff does not rust or tarnish, and though it weighs about eight pounds, it seems to be capable of altering its apparent weight for the user, as Ana uses it with little apparent effort.
Ana is 5'4”, with short brown hair, green eyes, and glasses (which she keeps fastened to her head by an elastic band during battle). She usually wears durable, no-nonsense clothing: cargo pants with hiking boots, a t-shirt, and jacket is her usual outfit.
